We finally got HHI in July at the 7th month mark. Now what is there to do there for a week? I am going with my DH and 2 DD's. What to expect to do, we all like the beach and the pool, but what else is there to do. Thank you.

I don't know how old your DD's are, but if old enough then definitely rent bicycles for the length of stay. Makes it very easy to get to the beach and there are a lot of bike paths to enjoy HH.

I too have 6 and 8 year old daughters.

When we were in HH this past August, they enjoyed:
  • Bicycling in and around the resort (the 6yo used a bike with training wheels or a trailer bike attached to mine)
  • The pool games at the resort and at the beach pool
  • The beach
  • Many of the craft activities offered (especially the tye dye and shadow boxes)
  • The nature walks in the marsh
  • The campfires
  • The pirate bbq
  • The kids night outs
  • A dolphin tour
  • Fishing and crabbing from the pier

We enjoyed HH so much in 2010 that we returned again in 2011. There is so much to do that I'm sure I missed some activities above!
