what to do at a reunion?

we are getting together w/about 20 friends from church that we haven't seen in about 10 yrs...the plans are a cookout w/families & dinner w/o kids. What else can be thrown in there? Will be having everyone bring photos from the old days to laugh over - but have no other ideas of what to do ..

Any ideas??

I guess our family reunions are a little different since we have them every year, but... We like to play vollyball, badmitten, bocci (sp), etc. We love making fools of ourselves.

How about doing some of the old fashioned games for the kids' sakes? Three legged races, sack races, wheelbarrow races. What about passing oranges, small balloons or other round items under chins from person to person?

One thing I did when we had a family scouting event was to hire a couple teen girls to "babysit". I had a table set up with crayons, paper, pipe cleaners, all the little bits of stuff to make crafts and some safe glues/tapes as well as playdough. I also had some kid music and they kept the kids so busy they didn't bother the adults. Everyone loved it. We paid the girls very well too with so many families there. They even monitored them on the playground and did camp songs and games.
