What to do after a 10 AM wedding?

I'm trying to figure out what is the best thing to do after our 10 AM wedding at Sea Breeze Point. Only a limited number of restaurants serve Lunch. I'm trying to find something nice but affordable AND kid friendly. We have two girls, ages 3 and 5. Any suggestions?

Fresh at the Dolphin has a lovely luncheon buffet with excellent food. I believe they also have a private room. The Kona Cafe also serves lunch but I don't think they have a private room.

Our wedding is at 10 a.m., and we ended up making a 2 p.m. reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge. We have a full house for our Intimate wedding, and we are asking a few extra people for the luncheon, so we have about 25 people coming to the lunch. We actually don't have that many kids, but it was one of the few places we could find that was affordable, had a menu we thought would be agreeable to everyone (a lot of the family wouldn't go for things that are "too fancy"), and could accomodate the number of people we were bringing. With that number of people, you are usually looking at needing to rent out a room.

WCC is definitely very kid-friendly. For a large group like we are bringing, you have to do the skillet, which is a one-price meal. It's bascially a barbeque-style meal: ribs, corn, etc. You can look up the exact menus on-line. The lunch menu is a little cheaper than the dinner menu, but the dinner skillet had a little more variety, and we liked it a little better, so we asked, and they agreed to let us have the dinner skillet at lunchtime.

We are planning a 10am VR in July. Our plan to to have lunch somewhere maybe at DTD then get changed and go to a park for a few hours before having a nice dinner somewhere later that night.

If it is going to be the four of you, have you thought about doing a private dining experience? I know that they do those at the GF. I am not sure of the pricing though.

we are having our brunch reception at the living seas after our 10am ceremony at sea breeze...

We're doing a lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe after our 10 a.m ceremony.

We got married at 10am and I wanted to eat at 1900 Park Fare really badly so we got the earliest seating available, which was 4:00. After our ceremony we took pictures til about 1:00 and then went back to the room to change and cool down. We ended up eating some wedding cake , watching a little tv and then going to eat. The restaurant was so much fun! I wore my headpiece and veil and the characters were so responsive to it. We had a blast.

We got married at the wilderness at 11:00 AM... it was an intimate wedding with a total of 20 people...

We decided not to do anything right after the wedding. Family went back to their rooms to change and went for a swim and relax a bit...

We booked a dinner at Fultons in a private room for 5:30.... this worked great for us... I had decided that I didn't want to be in my dress for the "reception" and I didn't want people to have to be all dressed up in formal attire ( I mean it is Disney isn't it... they all wanted to head out and see the sites after the dinner .... which I did too!!!! )

For us doing a dinner later in the day worked for us, it might be something to consider if you are flexible in not having a "traditional" type reception!

We rented a ballroom and had brunch. It all matters on what you are lookign to do. is there any grand gatherings for lunch time? Afterward we all went to the park and had a good time.

We had photos and then went back to the rooms to change and then hit MGM for a 2:30 seating at 50's Prime Time. We had a blast ! Then hung out in the park for the rest of the day.
