Ok, I know one answer would be to leave them home but that's not an option this trip! :teeth:
I am staying at Disney for a week with DBF who is clueless when it comes to Disney. He didn't even know there were four parks! :rotfl2:
He is somewhat reluctant thinking it is going to be too childish. He did go with his parents when he younger. He thinks he will like Epcot and AK. I am trying to not be too commando but we are going the second week of March so I know it will be crowded. He is more of a spontaneous traveler and that just won't work in Disney. I have offered to get him involved in the planning but he just thinks I am crazy! I keep suggesting we watch the planning video but that hasn't gone over well. We are taking two days to go to the beach and Busch Gardens. Any suggestions of what I can do to get him more excited about this trip?

okay you may need to change your style for this trip.

what does he like to do?

sports - how about something at WWoS.

make him aware that WDW is not only theme parks - but just about everything...

where are you staying? some of the resorts have activities there he might like.

I am definitely going to have to change my style. I am struggling with that but I think the vacation will be more relaxing. We are staying at POP. I am trying to get him to understand that there is lots to do at Disney. He is reluctant to even eat onsite. I am sure he will see why that is easier sometimes once we are there but the planning is killing me!!

If he is into watching sports on TV, and you are going when the sport(s) he likes is in season mention the ESPN Club and perhaps stopping there to watch a game or two while you are at WDW.

If you are in to clubbing tell him about Pleasure Island. Does he golf? There are several courses on property, he can golf while you do the "childish" things

Since you mention Busch Gardens, I guess he likes thrill rides. Well guess what you can do a "mountain tour": Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Splash, and the new one in Animal Kingdom. Throw in Tower of Terror, Rock'n Roll'er coaster, Space and Test Track and while not strictly a thrill ride it is cool "Soarin"
