What to do-2 little girls

My husband and I are taking our 4 & 6 year old daughters to Disney for 3 nights. It is their first time and we will only have 2 full days there, We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and arriving on a Monday about noon and leaving on Thursday morning for a cruise. What are some must see things for 2 girls. They do like princesses but not too sure where the best places to see them are. We are just getting 1 maybe 2 day passes so I want to make sure we go to the best places. Thanks for any info. We are going at the beginning of February.

There is a princess meal at the Grand Floridian which is great if you can't get reservations to the castle breakfast.

With one or two days I would just go to Magic Kingdom. There is more than enough to keep 2 girls 4 & 6 entertained there!

I have 2 boys 4 & 6 and a 9 y/o daughter. We just got back and they had a great time!

Yep - what FOV suggests - that's what I'd do, too.

Get to Magic Kingdom before opening. When the rope drops, head straight to Tink's Treasures, located in Fantasy Land. Each morning a child gets the opportunity to "wake up" Tinkerbell. She is kept in a treasure chest on a shelf in the store. The child is given a magic wand to tap on the chest. You will see Tink's shadow [and hear her also] flying in the store after she's awaken. If you get to do this, your girls should get a certificate indicating their participation. It's just a little something special that will WOW your girls.

When my daughters were that age we focused on the MK. There are many cute things going on. Be sure to pick up an entertainment schedule (and to get an idea of where the characters will be when you enter or check out:

Depending on weather they are girlie girls or not, there is the pirate cruise or the wonderland tea party. I think that both are at the Grand Floridian, but you don't have to stay there to do them.

For sure take them to a character breakfast and for sure get them an autograph book! Getting the characters' autograph and getting pictures with the characters is pricelss!!!

also at Grand Floridian there is a Cinderella Buffet ONLY AT DINNER - Mary Poppins and friends is there at breakfast - Cinderella, Prince Charming, amd 2 of the mice come to your table and the Fairy Godmother is in the lobby.

Of course there is CRT - but the ressies are hard to come by.

In front of the castle they have a show many times during the day featuring Cinderella and many other Dis characters

Jasmine and Aladdin are found in Adventure Land near the Magic carpets of Aladdin off and on during the day - ask a CM upon entering the park to get times.

If your in Epcot Beauty and the Beast are often in France - the Epcot map has character locations(as do all park maps)

Also go to Conservation Station and at Affection Section you can feed and brush some animals - I and DD really like this part of AK


No matter what you choose just relax and have fun!!!

4 and 6 are such magical ages! My daughter loved toon town fair and seeing Minnie's house.

Any more ideas-we will only be going to Magic Kingdom and maybe MGM or one of the water parks if it is warm enough.

Mickeys Toon Town has the princess meet n greet right in the big gift shop there. I forget the name. There are three lines and one of the lines is only for princesses. My girls 7 and 4 love it. Be sure you see a parade, preferrably Share a Dream or Spectro. My girls love the tea cups! I thought it would make me sick, but it didnt, thank goodness. They also love Splash Mountain. Alladins magic carpet is a good alternative to Dumbo if the line is too long at Dumbo. It will be closed while we are there, thank goodness. Winnie the Pooh is a must do too. MGM we like Beauty and the Beast, Muppets, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and lots and lots of character action. Different ones that can be found at Magic Kingdom. Thats why we like it there. If either one is isnt Monsters Inc they have their own meet and greet area, as does Toy Story, and I believe Lilo and Stitch do now too at MGM. Fantasmic is not to be missed! Both my girls loved Tower of Terror, but unless I take some serious drugs Im not getting on that thing again. LOL I'll let dh do it this time. RnR coaster is a must do for my 7 year old.

Chef Mickeys is a great place for dinner if you want to escape the parks. Lots of interaction and music. Fun time! and a good chance to meet the Fab 4 so that frees up alot of your time at the parks. And you can do that on a non park day too since its at a resort and not in the park. My girls love it.

Havent tried the Cinderella Dinner yet though. Sounds like my girls would enjoy that.

My now 18 year old informed me last time we went (she was 16) that she never really liked mgm until that visit. She was 8 the first time we went. My 4 year old nephew loved the water park more than the parks I think. We went to Blizzard Beach. We also stayed at Caribbean Beach and he loved down time swimming in the pool. We were there longer though. I would certainly vote for MK and maybe AK if they like animals and a water park.

What fun they will have! Magic Kingdom would be enough with two days for sure, but I think MGM is awesome for at least part of a day with girls. Only problem is that you would need to spring for two park tickets in one day so you could spend the other part of the day at MK.... The MGM stage shows are so wonderful and my girls love Fantasmic! as well.

Crystal Palace at MK is great for a meal with Pooh and Friends. The breakfast at the castle with the princesses is so special...I'd go for it and see if you can get in.

As for a water park, I'm not sure I'd spend one of my few days at one with children your girls' ages. Maybe they are more daring than mine were at that age, but mine would not have wanted to do much more that the kiddie slides and play in the wave pool back then. They are 8 and 10 now and just the last summer or two started enjoying water parks. With such a quick Disney trip, I think the girls would enjoy MK as much as possible! Just my thought!
