What time would you get to Turnstiles - mnsshp?

What time would you recommend getting to the turnstiles before mnsshp? We won't have day Park tickets so plan to get through the turnstiles at 4 to make a 4.20 splash mountain fp. I'm not sure what security and the queues will be like pre party.

I would get to the area in front of MK around 3 PM. There will be people waiting for the party hanging around, but the lines don't really form until a bit later than that. You definitely want to be toward the front of the lines to make it to Splash by 4:20. The lines will get long. Usually though they start putting people through a bit before 4 PM.

OK, one question... If we don't plan on using a park day ticket that day, can we still get FP's with the party tickets? We're still not to our FP window yet, but I'd like to be prepared and make FP's if it's allowed. Thanks!

Yes you can make FP's with the party ticket.

Get there around 3:30pm. They started letting people in at about 3:45pm. when we went. You'll have a 15 minute grace period with fp's, so you should have plenty of time to get to Splash.

Yes, you can. You have to schedule them between 3:30 and 6:30 (6:30 is the cutoff for FP on party days). You can schedule them for earlier (I have done 3:15) but keep in mind that you will have to have time to get there once you enter at 4 PM (though its usually a little before 4 if you get there early and are at the front of the line).

I went to the first party this year.
Arrived at about 3:30pm.
It took about 5 minutes at security.
Then we were held at the tapstiles until about 3:50pm.
We got our wristbands on and our candy bag and first candy by about 4:05pm and easily made it to our 3:20pm-4:20pm Space Mountain FP+.

Our fp begins at 3.20 so we've not got long to get through the turnstiles and make it there. I knew I was pushing my luck a little bit with the time on that one but I wanted to cram in as many fps as I could
