What time will transportation to the parks start?

Now that EE is discontinued, what time will the transportation start?

For example, we are staying at WL. If MK opens at 9am, what time will the buses start running? Does Main Street still open a little earlier than the park?

The same question for the rest of the parks too. We have PS for Breakfastasaurus at 730am...now that AK doesn't open til 9am, will there be transportation to AK for us? I know someone received a response from WDW that all PS made early will be honored.

Any info out there??

I called today and asked about our Cindy's PS for 7:40 and was told that bus service will start running 1 hour before park opening. Those who have a PS before that time will have to find their own transportation.

That is really disgusting. Well, I better go cancel my 7:30am Breakfastasaurus PS.

Any idea about Main Street still opening a 1/2 hr early?

I am reworking my daily plans and would like to know also. In the past on non-ee days the MK main street opened 1/2 early. I wonder if that will still be true?

Also will the buses start 1 hour before official opening time or before the "real" opening time of 1/2 before official opening?. These opening times have always confused me!

Really want to bump this up because I just got on the board to find out the same thing. With all the hours changing, what choices are left for breakfast for instance. I mean, if you don't rent a car and the buses and monorail aren't running early and the parks are opening late, how in the world are you supposed to get there? After all the $$ spent getting to go to WDW and now things are being cut, are we supposed to call a Taxi to go to breakfast too? Good grief.

Any WDW bus drivers out there??

I too am confused about the actual times the buses start running.

I want to get to the parks as early as possible.

Hi. I am staying at the GF, and I have PS for Chef Mickey's at 7:30. Will the monorail be running at 7? AK opens at 8, and an hour before is 7.

For the remainder of this week the transportation system will continue to operate early enough to get people to the parks for their breakfast reservations. Beginning next week the system will change so that transportation will depart the resorts so as to arrive at the park just before official park opening time. For example, if MK is opening at 9:00 the first MK buses will leave the resorts at about 8:30 or a bit earlier. It is currently assumed that the first guests to arrive at MK will still be admitted to Main Street.

Anyone with an early PS in the parks after this week should check with WDW-DINE periodically to see if it is still valid. I think you should assume that since Surprise Mornings have been cancelled, the park restaurants will no longer be open during that time.

Things are changing rapidly here. The above information is valid today, but maybe not tomorrow!

Thanks so much Master Gracey...I was hoping you would reply. I guess we will try to get to the bus stop around 815am when the park opens at 9am. I just hope it's not a madhouse at the bus stop:)

Ok, I am a Disney Bus Driver, because of the cutbacks in the Morning EE program, Buses will also be Cutback too. This week and next week or two we still have the staff for running the EE but the buses are going up around 7:30 to 8:00 depending on the Resort Hotel. We (Bus Drivers) have now been told that our work Schedules will be change to reflect the new opening times. More likely by Thanksgiving most drivers won't be starting work until 7 or 8 am in the mornings.

Also been told that the Dreaded "Magic on Demand system "maybe Expanded to the Afternoon Hours and also to the areas not currently running the Magic on Demand system (Such as Downtown Disney). Disney believes that they use Less Buses with Magic on Demand than on the Regular old system. Also if the Magic on Demand system comes back to Downtown Disney look for Pleasure Island to be the only stop for Downtown Disney in the Morning hours till 11 am or even later. This may take place by the Thanksgiving Day Holidays.

Z:rolleyes:

Thanks Z! We are leaving tomorrow, so hopefully we'll still be able to hop a bus early and get to the park to wait for the rope drop. Thanks again:)
