What time will Electrical Water Pageant go by Fort beach?

If it starts at 9:00 pm, what time will we be able to see from the Fort beach?

NOTE2: For an option, you could view the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach.

. . . the parade goes dark if Wishes is at the same time and it is still near MK

nabi, a funny true story....

When I was newly married, I took my bride to tent camp at the Fort in November 1987. She is a "Holiday Inn" kind of girl and I was proud to have all my camping gear ready to use for a quick weekend trip to the MK. I had only stayed at the Fort one time previously (in the early 80s in the Creekside Meadow group campsite with the Boy Scouts) but I acted like I knew what the Fort was.

We got in Friday night after a hard day's work in the office, got our site in loop 100 (it was either 122 or 123), we set up our tent and crawled in to sleep so we could be rested to hit the MK rope drop the next morning....

I was BLASTED out of my early slumber by the music from the Electric Water Pageant. It is like the Main Street Electrical Parade music and I was completely unprepared for it. Naturally we eventually fell back asleep but it was a little LOUD!.

We listened to it every night in the 1600 loop, when not at DTD.

We were in the 2000 loop a few weeks back. I still don't know who stopped by and brought the magnet. My spouse was baffled (not knowing the existence of the Disboards, nor my username). I was off with little one, checking out the wildlife on the golf cart. Thanks for the magnet (Tiggerdad, snowmedic, Rustyscupper, ...)
oops, sorry for hijacking! You'll love watching the ELP from the beach! I had always thought they were manned barges (a tug?) but did not see how they navigate through the water. Who has the remote?!?!

The Electrical Water Pageant will start 30 minutes earlier on Thursdays and Fridays from November 12 to December 18.

  • Beginning at 8:30pm
• Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Beginning at 8:45pm
• Disney's Wilderness Lodge
  • Beginning at 9:00pm
• Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
  • Beginning at 9:15pm
• Disney's Contemporary Resort
  • Beginning at 9:45pm - in instances when Wishes take place, the Pageant will begin shortly after its conclusion
• Magic Kingdom Park
  • Beginning at 10:05pm - right outside the park entrance

Thanks Rusty! I'm pretty excited about the change, I am hoping to watch the fireworks the night of our arrival on Thanksgiving and wanted the kids to see the water parade but didn't think we'd be up to waiting around a half for it after driving all day, now it will start going by us just as the fireworks are ending and that should be perfect.
