What time to leave for LTT from VWL?

We have an ADR for LTT at 5:55pm. We'll be @ MK for EMH that morning and then leave for a break around 1pm. We'll be at VWL and riding the boat over. What time should we leave in order to get back to LTT in time? Should we allow 1.5 to 2 hrs? I know we'd have to ride the boat (which may take time) and then the turnstiles/bag check and then head back to LTT. What do you all think?

I think 1.5 hours is about right. I haven't stayed at VWL but I have eaten there and it was a wait for the boat. Then as you say, there's security, the turnstiles and then getting back into Liberty Square, checking in at LTT etc. That extra time gives me time to get some fastpasses for later or even do a quick ride on Haunted Mansion if the lines aren't bad! And often when I check in early, I get seated early. Any way you look at it, the worst thing that happens is you have some extra time to do whatever rather than sweating bullets if the boat is slow.

When we were at VWL in January, there was a bus running from the Lodge to the MK. It took literally five minutes from door to door. The boat took forever. Once we discovered that the bus actually does run to the MK, we never got on another boat. If you're trying to stretch out your afternoon nap, take the bus!

Thanks! The boat does moves slow. I think I will allow 1.5-2 hrs to be safe. I thought I read somewhere that the bus to MK takes forever because it goes somewhere else first or something? Is that true?
