Well, B&C can get really crowded because it's so popular, so your best choice would be to eat at an off time. Either really early (before 11) or really late (around 2 or later).
Earlier might be better. Depending on the weather, I find that a lot of people show up from the theme parks for their afternoon breaks, about 1-3. Hanging around the pool if the weather's nice, then getting something at Beaches and Cream.
We always have pretty good luck sitting right away after 1:30-2 for a later lunch. Never had to wait although we've sat at the counter a few times, but that is kinda fun to sit there.
Around 1:30. I think it was a Saturday. There were only two of us. One option-if it is way to crowded and you are hungry- is to order from the take out window and sit at the tables right in front of the restaurant. That was our fall back if the wait was going to be too long. Though, I'd much prefer to actually eat in the restaurant because I love the old fashioned Ice Cream Palour feel. I had the No Way Jose and it was very peanut buttery. I'd go for a hot fudge sundae next time.
