What time should we make dinner reservations?

we will be going to Disneyland Jan 25-29th. We want to know what time we should make dinner rese for if we want to make it back for nighttime shows. Praying they have fireworks while we are there! We will be eating at the nicer sit down restaurants like Steakhouse 55, Napa Rose and Carthay Circle. Thanks in advance!

Maker the reservations now. Ask for 5:30p.

For nicer sit down dinners I always book AT LEAST 2 hours prior to wanting to be anywhere (not showtime). So if WOC was say at 10pm...and we want to arrive at the viewing areas at say 9:30pm...dinner reservation should be no later than 7:30pm that way we are not rushed.
