They're upstairs playing "the lion king" board game right now.

what time should I send em to bed?

if they go too early- they'll be up giggling etc... and they'll be up early tomorrow

if they go too late- they'll be horrible tomorrow if they wake up early.

I'm thinking 10pm???

Or- better yet, I'll let them sleep in the living room, and I'll go to my room and shut the door!

10pm sounds good - even though they probably won't fall asleep before midnight.

I have a house full tonight too. It is my neighbor's birthday so I took her kids and one little boy that was playing with them all outside today. When they were getting their stuff to come over you could tell he wanted to come also.

So I have my two 6 & 6
The brothers 9 & 11
Other boy 9

I will let them stay up until they start bugging me:teeth:
Then I will put a movie in and make them lay down.

Well-

I've got the 7's in the living room watching TV and the 8's in DD8's room playing

Too much bickering going on for my blood- I told em ONE MORE TIME AND ITS ALL OVER......LIGHTS ARE OUT!!!!!!!

yeah- right its not that bad being downstairs and they're upstairs!

I have 2-7 year olds and 1-5 year old upstairs and they went to bed a little after 9 tonight! (EST) I could hear them all talking back and forth from rooms and giggling. It was cute!!

I just checked on them and they are all asleep!! :) I think they went to bed so good because they were all up at 6:30 this morning!! :p

It's 8:45, and I have 4 6-year-olds one my living room floor watching Hilary Duff in "A Cinderella Story" as part of DDs slumber party. DD3 is also there (she loves to hang with her big sis). I started the movie at 8 (over by 9:30). I am hoping for mostly asleep or fully asleep girls by the time it is over!

I would vote for 10. DD went to a slumber party last weekend and they didn't go to bed until midnight

She is 8!!!!

This must be the night for sleep over! I have 7 little girls upstairs right now! DD 9th birthday party.
I am giving them lots of time...I told DD lights out at 12:earseek:
but they are watching a movie and settling down.
I figure once the lights are out they will yack for about an hour. Then at 1 They need to be quiet.......

My rule is simple. I go to bed. If they wake me up, laughing, running, anything, then it's time for sleep.

They are 12 and 13, so they ususally last until about 1. If they sneak some mountain dew, then it's even later. I don't care, as long as I get my sleep.
