What time PDT do Pearl Harbor tickets get released online?

I did a practice run this morning to try to reserve Arizona memorial tickets for June 6th. I got on before 10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time so that I would be ready to order them right at 10 a.m., which is 7 a.m. Hawaii time. However, at 9:55 a.m. PDT, ( so 6:55 a.m. Hawaii time), it was already open and most of the tickets were gone. What time zone of 7 a.m. does it actually open? Now I am nervous about what time to start trying tomorrow, since obviously 7 a.m. Hawaii time/10:00 Pacific Daylight time is not correct.

I believe I had to wait until noon Eastern time (before DST) to purchase my tickets.

OK, thanks. I guess it is 9 a.m. Pacific time then. So weird because when I google Hawaii time currently, it says it is 3 hours behind us. But somehow I guess it is only 2 hours behind us.

It's 3 hours behind pacific time right now (6 hours behind eastern time) According to the website:
Advance Tickets
Advanced reservations are available daily through Recreation.gov at 7:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time.

That's what I thought, but somehow that isn't correct. At 9:55 a.m Pacific time (what should have been 6:55 a.m. Hawaii time I thought), the tickets were already for sale and mostly gone. They shouldn't have even been on sale yet if they are 3 hours behind us. Trying to figure this out before tomorrow morning when I'm doing it for real. Thanks!

That's surprising! I didn't get around to it until Monday (Apr 4) for Jun 1 tix. I couldn't get a morning time for 4 people, but I got 2:00 and there were other options later than that. I'm fine with that anyway b/c we planned to go to the swap meet in the morning before lunch, then Pearl Harbor after. I guess it all depends on the day you want to go? Your test would have been for a Sunday, which possibly is more crowded than weekdays? Good luck in any case!!

Thanks, we have 6 people and want to go in the morning, which seems to be a more popular time. I guess I am going to just have to go on early here and keep and eye on it at each hour. So weird.

Maybe the US government website's formula for what time to release the tickets doesn't take into account the lack of DST in Hawaii and releases them at 6am Hawaii time during DST months? As I mentioned on the other thread, on the day I did it, it opened up at noon EST, and that was back in Jan or Feb. Anyway, I think getting online early is definitely a good bet based on what you found today. Good luck!

Yes that is a good theory. I will definitely be trying at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. our time tomorrow. Thank you!

I just did ours this weekend. It was noon CST for me. I had to log in and get them picked and then kept hitting "book now" over and over until it hit straight up noon CST. If I tried to put in cart prior to noon CST, it said I had to wait until 1pm EST (so noon for me in CST). The 9am tickets were gone in 3 minutes. I needed 4.

One day I tried, before noon CST, and all times showed 25 available (which is what it shows before you can really book them), but the 10am tickets showed "0" available. You couldn't book them yet, but that time was not going to be an option when it did open for booking for that day, I guess. I figured out that although it looks like the tickets are available, if you actually try to click "book now" and it was before noon CST, it will show you the error that they can't be booked until 1pm EST. That message appears in red at the top of the booking page.

Good luck tomorrow! You might want to create your account on recreation.gov so you are logged in and all set. You have 15 minutes to get all payment info in once you pick the tickets or they are released.

Since we're now in CDT, did you book at 1 pm, which would be noon CST? I'm trying to book mine later this week, so any help would be appreciated.

The day I booked mine last week, it opened at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time. The day before, it was open before 10 a.m. PDT for some reason and most were gone. So I checked at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. PDT to make sure. Be sure to make an acct ahead of time and play with the website a little the day before. I literally had the seconds counting down on my phone, had everything set so I just had to make 2 clicks as soon as it hit 10:00 exactly.

Noon CDT.

Thank you! Made my account ahead of time and was able to get what I wanted. Appreciate the help!
