what time is the Poly torch lighting?

would like to take the chance to see this
what time? can anyone follow them while they light the torches? is there a ceremony?

We have been to the Poly twice and both times they light the torches in front of the GC House at 6pm. and there is a short ceremony/show. It is nice to watch.
I don't believe they walk around lighting every torch-if that is what you are wondering. DH says they are probably on an auto-timer.

Actually, you're right. . .there is a torch lighter that travels around the resort on a John Deere Gator. The tiki torches don't ignite themselves, but the gas does start flowing at the same time each day so that aspect must be timer controlled. We are usually poolside when the CM drives around the quiet pool--in fact, he has the "job" that I will be taking when I retire. We joke about my "job" and what the Polynesian will do with the current employee when I'm ready to settle into the position.
