What time is dinner for fantasmic package?

Does anyone know the range of times for dinner for Fantasmic? I have heard people eating at 3:30 for the show. We have a diabetic in our family and need to eat dinner between 5 and 6pm. Also, what restaurants are included?

Fantasmic packages are generally scheduled between 3 and 5 pm. I don't think you can get them later. I think the latest reservation possible is 4:55 if that would be close enough to 5. If there is a specific time you need, you need to book ASAP because the availability is limited and the packages go fast. By the way, you can't book the package online - you'll need to call.

The participating restaurants are Hollywood & Vine (buffet), Mama Melrose and Hollywood Brown Derby.

I think it's at Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood & Vine and Brown Derby (2 TS credits there if you're on the DDP).

I can't tell you the exact times they take ADR's for. Our ADR for dinner was at 4:50 and weren't seated for a half-hour, so we ate close to 5:30.

I would suggest that you just explain to the res agent why you need a later time.

If they could get you a 4:55 seating, you would actually be eating between 5 & 6. You aren't really asking them to bend the rules, just to get you into the last seating.

If the last seating is full, you could always ask to speak to a manager. The res agent might not have the authority to overbook, but the manager should.

It never hurts to ask...if they say "no", then you haven't lost anything...and they might say "yes"!

When is your trip? The closer you are to your trip, the greater the odds are that all the packages are sold out. If they're sold out already I doubt they will be able to arrange a package for you.

The booking window for restaurant reservations opens at 180 days.

The dining times also depend on the time that the first showing of Fantasmic! is. The dinner packages are only for the first show. Last week, we had a reservation time of 3:05 for a 6:30 show. If you go at a time when Fantasmic! starts later, then you will eat later.

Not much later - Fantasmic is at 9:00 in July. I called at 7:00 on the 180 day (10 days out) and the latest FDP we could get was 4:50. Oh well, we'll shop up exactly at 4:50 and Mama Melrose's usually takes a long time to eat dinner!

No if you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book your reservations at 180 days (like everyone else), but you can book for 10 consecutive days of reservations when you make that call. Those not staying on-site have to call every day, 180 days from the date they want a reservation for.

50s Prime Time is not one of the Fantasmic package restaurants.

Just Mama Melrose, Brown Derby & Hollywood and Vine.

No if you are staying at a Disney resort, you can book your reservations at 180 days (like everyone else), but you can book for 10 consecutive days of reservations when you make that call. Those not staying on-site have to call every day, 180 days from the date they want a reservation for.

You shouldn't have any trouble. We had a 3:05 and were given the dinner menu. I ordered the Penne a la Vodka, which is not on the lunch menu (at least not according to All Ears).
