What time is best fo Garden Grill @ Crystal Palace

Does anyone have any suggestions on what is best lunch or dinner for Garden Grill and Crystal Palace.

My Dh2B and I had lunch at Garden Grille on New Years Eve and loved it, and we also had dinner at Crystal Palace and of course loved it also. Both places are great. the food and character interaction is awesome. So we recommend Garden Grille for lunch and Crystal Palace for dinner.

We just booked Coral Reef for 6:20 pm on a night where Illuminations starts at 9. That should leave us enough time to eat and get an ok seat for Illuminations.

I have eaten at the CP but not GG, but wanted to share my experience with you. Timing is everything!

I made a lunch reservation for CP at 11:30 when it was scheduled to open, thinking we'd have very little wait since we'd be among the first ones in there. Not!!! We had to wait for everyone to finish breakfast and clear the restaurant before we were admitted. There was a long line to check in at the front porch, and then another long wait once we got our pagers.

The lunch was GREAT, and I would definitely go back to the CP-- just at a different time. My advice would be to avoid getting the first sitting when lunch or dinner hours begin if they are trying to transition between breakfast/lunch crowds or lunch/dinner crowds. Hope this makes sense!
