What time does the Oceaneer's Club on the 1st day?

What time does the OC open for the kids on the 1st day? We want to put the kids in there briefly, so that we can run around & get all spa requests in, etc.

Not as early as that! You can't just leave them until later that night. You can go sign them up and get your beeper early but the people are busy registering kids so you can't leave them until all that is over.

Well, i don't think you can do that. The first day is:
registration: 12 - 3:15; 5 - 7
Welcome Aboard Party: 7 - 8
Luau: 8 - 9:45
Movies: 9:45 - 12

So, the earliest they take the children is 7pm and by then all the ressies are gone .... so you are better off either taking the kids with you or else letting 1 person do the running while the other is on kid duty.

DVC Mary, Having just returned from the May 8th Western, JenLynn is correct with the earilest drop off time being 7 PM. Another option you may want to consider is the Romantic Escape at Sea package which DW and I did on our cruise. For $299 you get a welcome aboard gift basket in your room, reservations at Palo's, Spa treatments for two with pre boarduing reservations, and a champagne breakfast in bed (be careful and make sure you order two of things you both want or room service will only deliever one serving - this includes the champagne). The best part about this package is that all the reservations are done about two weeks before you cruise when you are called by the Disney reservation coordinater. All we had to do when we boarded was check our DD and DS into the clubs then we were off to lunch.
