What time does MK close before MNSSHP?

I'm trying to plan my October 15-23 itinerary. Since we will not be attending MNSSHP, I think it's best we avoid the MK that day. I know that the party starts at 7, but what time does the park close to the general public? And do a lot of folks hop to another park - particularly Epcot - when MK closes early?

I think it was 6:00 last year---it was a good day to go--had good wait times!! Then we hopped over to Epcot afterwards--worked out great!!

The park closes at 6pm to general guests. Remember that in general the MK closes many nights by 7pm anyhow in October. It is a slower season w/ earlier nights at the parks.

I second the notion that MNSSHP days are good days to be at MK. The days when there isn't a party expect big crowds! The only things you will miss on MNSSHP days is Wishes and Spectro (they don't have spectro every night anyway). You can come to the park another evening just for those two things. The thing about the MNSSHP days is that the people going to the party will probably either go to another park or hang out at the hotel since it will be a late night. The people not going to the party won't go to MK since they know its closing early.
