What time does 1900 Park Fair open for dinner??

On Jan 28th, there are fireworks at 6:30 ....I was thinking of dinner at 1900 Park Fair, but only if dinner starts early. If dinner doen't start until 5:30 (which is very likely) - we would miss the fireworks. Anyone know when the restaurant opens?

We went to 1900 Park Fare in January of this year on our first night at WDW. I believe it opens at 5:00. We had a 5:15 PS, and we got there 15 or 20 minutes early, as they request. We were the first ones in line, and the restaurant opened a few minutes later.

My experience with this is that the "official" opening time must be 5:00, as that is what I was given when I asked for the earliest dinner PS. However, the night we were there it was well after 5:00 before the doors opened. Possibly even after 5:15. Since we had been there early (as requested), our wait was pretty long. Personally, I don't think you could make 6:30 fireworks. Especially if you have little ones (or big ones for that matter) who want to get 2 meetings with the characters. We had to really rush after our dinner to get back to EPCOT for ToD and Illuminations, so it must've been late. The dinner was nice, however, so we felt it was worth it.
