I am leaving for the airport tomorrow and arriving at WDW on Friday. Now its the day before we leave I'm started to second guess how early we need to be at the parks for. So here is my question: How long before the parks official opening time do you try to get there for (on average for all the parks)?

I;m lucky if we get there no LATER than an hour after it opens.

Hard to get my group going in the a.m.'s.

None of the above. We go off season, so we usually arrive just after park opening time, and usually it isn't that busy anyway!

This time we will aim to be there 15 minutes before park opening. We did this at Epcot one time last trip, but didn't like having to wait...

We tried the getting there early route but for us it was just not worth the opening madness. Rope drop can be crazy! ( and we go off season). Half hour after opening is less stressful for us.

In the wintertime, 30 minutes, summertime, 45-60.

But, if I go with someone who walks slowly or is in an ECV, I'll just show up at opening...no point in being there early to get passed up by everyone! :)

We are early birds, so we get there between 15-30minutes prior to park opening.

None of the above for me & DH. We love to sleep in...we usually don't hit a park until about 11am or so.

We (okay, I) try to be there about 30 minutes before. We love the little opening ceremonies, and we usually have a specific destination to get to "right away." :joker:

I like to watch the MK opening thing if I can, so I would say I try to get there 30 mins ahead of opening. Do that for the other parks if we can too. DS6 is an early riser so it makes it easy for us to get to the parks at opening time.

I really enjoy seeing the opening rope drop "ceremony" at each of the parks, so we always get there about 30 minuets early. And, the first hour is the most productive because they crowds aren't too bad yet.
