What time do you actually broad the ship?

For the Fantasy and Dream they start boarding 11:15-11:30. Concierge and Platinum board 1st. Then they start with everyone else calling a new boarding # (you will receive your boarding # when you check in) about every 5 minutes. Everyone waiting in the terminal is onboard by 12:30-12:45

We got there with the first airport bus and it was an awful wait for our first cruise. I would've been fine, but my little guys were out of their minds. I wouldn't get there crazy early again.

Get there at 12:30 and you shouldn't have much, if any, wait at all. The crowds are crazy from 10ish when people start lining up until 12:30 when most of those who were there early get on board. You pretty much check in and walk on board after 12:30-12:45. You can arrive after your PAT without any problems.

We went in April with our daughter and her family. They drove. We flew and we spent the night before at the MCO Hyatt. They had a PAT of 10:45. We caught the 11:15 DCL transfer from the airport. We got a text from our daughter right as we were reaching the terminal that they had just gotten onto the ship (maybe noon at that time). We got off the bus. The only lines in the terminal were people trying to get special requests and to take pictures with Mickey. We were on the ship about 12:40 or so.

So my daughter had to wait in lines about and hour and 15 minutes. The people before her waited almost two hours. We had no lines and were on the ship about 40 minutes after our daughter. Is is worth getting to the terminal early for an extra 40 - 50 minutes? BTW, even boarding at that time, we still had to wait about an hour before our stateroom was ready.
