What time do the internal busses start running?

We're considering a trip to WDW Christmas week 2012 (yeah, I like to plan way ahead). We would tent camp at Fort Wilderness. I just read on allears that the internal busses don't start running in the morning until one hour before the theme parks open. Is this true? Being that it would be Christmas week, we'd want to be AT the parks well before rope drop.

Also--on a related note--would five of us (legally) fit on one golf cart? I'm thinking not. Kids would be 10,10, 9 at the time of the trip.

AND--when using the busses to get to Epcot, DAK, and DHS, can you just drive your vehicle to the Outpost and park it at the parking lot there instead of using the internal busses?

The buses will start running so you can be there at before rope drop. We do it all the time. if you want to be really early you can also drive yourself to the parks. You can drive to catch a bus, but finding a parking spot might be tough. % on a golf cart with 3 being kids should work out fine. There are also external GC rentals save you about half of Fort rentals.
