What time do I order an Uber? (Or Uber XL?)

First of all....
Do I need an Uber XL (I think that's what it's called) since we are 3 people, 2 large suitcases, 1 wheeled carry-on, 2 backpacks?

And when it comes time to leave our hotel (Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge)....how many hours before our flight departure should be order one? (We will want to make sure we get to the airport plenty early so we can grab lunch after we check our bags.)

Our flight that day leaves at 2:20pm.

You will definitely need an Uber XL to make sure all of your luggage fits.

In WDW Ubers typically arrive within 5-10 minutes of calling for one, though the app will tell you their ETA.

It takes 30 minutes to get to MCO and it is recommended that you arrive at the airport ~2 hours in advance of a domestic flight (3 hours for international, not sure where you are traveling form).

In the old days of Magical Express they would pick you up 3 hours prior to your flight so to be on the very safe side I'd say call an Uber at 11:10ish am that day so they are picking you up around 11:20 (3 hours before your takeoff time). This would give you an airport ETA of 11:50 and more than enough time to check bags and get food.

Thanks. That really helps! I think check-out is 11am anyway so that should actually line up fairly well without having to leave our bags with bell service. We'll just wait to head to the lobby at 11 exactly then.

I agree with 11:00am. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for a Uber/Lyft.
