What time do Fastpass machines start?

I'm hoping to get a fastpass before we head to Breakfast at CP. It's an EE day at MK and our Ps is for 8:25. I can also send my DH out mid breakfast to get them.

FP machines are functional as the attractions open. If it's real early your return time may be before you can finish breakfast
