what time do dessert parties start?~LOWER UK BOOKED

also wondering if anyone has ever done a fondue station at their dessert party??? if so did you have to add anything to it to reach the minimum expenditure??? i so what did you add to it??? Thanks, sorry for all the questions:goodvibes

I know when we were there for our site visit, our SM told us that they could not do the chocolate fountain for the dessert parties. It is because of a "health and safety" issue. Basically, she said it was because bugs could fly into the chocolate.

Our dessert party is set to start at 8:30.

UGH!!! That makes total sense:scared1: I wouldnt want choc covered bugs:rotfl: i wonder if you can have the fondue pots without the fountains:rolleyes: Thanks for the help!! i was thinking 830pm for a start the thing is our reception goes to 830 but i wanted to cut it back a 1/2hr to 8pm and have the buses take us on over to the dessert party. i thought by cutting the recepion back a little will help cut costs on dj, beverages, bus, etc!!;) Hopefully they let me do it:goodvibes

They are willing to be a bit flexible on DP start times - mine was scheduled to start at 8:30, but I've been allowed to extend it by half and hour so we run from 8pm - 9:30pm. Just ask your planner and she if she/he can accomodate your specific requests!

Good luck :thumbsup2

They have regular fondue just not in the fountain. You could probably add on a bar or coffee and cordials or something to reach the minimum. Also during the Christmas holiday season I believe dessert parties are on a slightly different schedule because of the Candlelight processional and Illuminations starts on 9:30 those nights.

YAY!!! We booked our dessert party and we are gonna cut the reception by a 1/2hr and end it at 8pm then head over to illuminations!!!!!!:goodvibes We booked lower UK does anyone have any pics of this location???? or know where i can go to see pics??? i am sooooo excited:banana:  Oh and we picked the old world classics in miniature for our desserts!!!!:yay:
