We have the 7pm WP slot. We didn't really pick it to be that time, it was a matter of wanting the reception at AAR so that was the time slot we had to have.

originally we were going to get married at noon. after my dh got sick and we had to reschedule our wedding date, we got married at 10am. I'm glad it worked out that way because it ended up getting sooooo hot that I don't think that I could have been outside any longer taking pictures if it had gone any later into the afternoon!!! :scared:

we're getting married at 10.00am, much like Jen ours is at SBP and it's in August so the heat is a huge factor. I'm not a morning person but in Disney I am:goodvibes getting up at 5am means nothing to me, I'll just grab an early breakfast. We have lunch scheduled at Citricos straight after pictures with Randy, back to the resort for 4 hours or so, then to Victoria and Alberts then meeting Randy at The GF Marina for some photos during Wishes. It think it's the perfect time:cloud9:

Ours was 2pm. It worked out perfectly. We had time for photos during the pre-reception, a 4 hour reception, then straight over to Epcot for the dessert party at 8:30pm :)

we got married at 11am, mainly because of the heat! We were so hot but 11 is the earliest time to have a wedding on the beach at the swan. It was sooooo magical!

While I am SO NOT a morning person...August...heat...therefore, the earliest slot at 10am. We are doing our MK shoot that moring before the ceremony, so Ana is arriving at 4am. I figured I would just get the killer early morning over with all in one day !!:rotfl: My DF, on the other hand, is a definate morning person, so all will be good with him. I will sleep late the next day !

We have to get married at 9 a.m. since our ceremony is inside a theme park. Our wedding is at the American Adventure Rotunda, so we have to be out of the countries before they open to guests at 11 a.m. I am not looking forward to getting up so early that morning. Our pictures start at 8 a.m. We decided since we're having such an early morning that day to hold off on our Magic Kingdom photos until 2 days later.

I voted 2:30 but it was actually 3:00 pm at SBP. I wanted to do it at 5:00 pm but it would have been difficult to get our dinner reservation for 10 at YSH so our EM recommended 3:00 pm so we could have dinner at 5:30 pm.

Our time is 1:30 in Georgia. I really wanted a morning wedding but I got talked out of it.

We wanted it early because we're very impatient and we want it done sooner rather than later ;)

Our ceremony was at 3pm! We basically wanted everything to flow from one thing to the other with no gaps or breaks in between. The YCG only did ceremonys on the odd hour (11am, 1pm, 3pm etc)

So we had mens photos at 1:30pm - 2pm.
My photos with MOB and FOB and bridesmaid - 2pm - 2:30
Seating etc was at 2:30
Ceremony 3-3:30ish
Group photos
Everyone then got on the bus for the pre reception 4-4:30
Reception 4:30-8:30
Dessert Party 8:30 - 10pm

So it all ran really smoothly and flowed from one to another.

Mine worked because Illuminations was on at 9:30 that night, otherwide i was going for the 1pm and a longer reception!

Ours is 9am, too, because we're getting married in Epcot. We wanted a theme park location and figured after-closing times would be too hard on families with children.

We are scheduled for a noon ceremony. I knew from the beginning that I did not want to wait all day to see DF and get married. I'm an extremely impatient person and I want the fun to start asap, not sit around waiting! I'm not exactly a morning person but I'm willing to bet I don't sleep much the night before anyway. ;) This also is helping cut the costs since our reception will be earlier.

Another thing we figured with having an earlier ceremony/reception is the kid factor. We aren't having kids under 13 at the ceremony/reception but they are invited to the DP. Having an earlier reception allows our guests to go back to the hotel and get into more comfortable clothes and get the kids for the DP. :thumbsup2

7pm ceremony so our guests wouldn't have to wait too long for the reception. Since the reception was at DCA, we had to wait until the park closed. Pre-reception was at 8:30. Our ceremony was very short, but I wanted 7 instead of 7:30, just in case we ran late. Our guests had to walk from the Rose Court Garden at the DLH to the Grand Californian entrance of DCA...a nice hike. Reception was at 9...9:30? hmm, have to go back and check! DCA closed at 8pm that day (friday), which is why our reception wasn't even later!
