What time can we realistically expect to be at park on arrival day?

We arrive at MCO 12:25 p.m. and are staying at AKL with private transportation already booked. We've never done a park on arrival day so I'm wondering about what time we could expect to be in Animal Kingdom after dropping bags at AKL? I'm not making ADR's until later in the evening but want to know when I should look at scheduling genie+ for some rides. Thanks

With private transportation booked, personally I would allocate 90 mins from plane to AKL. 30 mins to drop bags and 15 to get to AK.

If it were me I would feel safe (barring any flight delays or any other challenges) with booking LL reservations for 2:45 or later.

You don't say if you will have checked luggage. That can add 30 minutes. Otherwise, agree with pp. Land at 12:25. IOut of baggage claim by 1. 30 minute drive. Check in and drop bags. Should be able to be in a park, even waiting for a bus by 2:15. Agree with first Genie + after 2:45 to be safe. Probably could do earlier.
