I live in the central time zone. what time should I try to do booking for internet and phone? I'm hoping not to have to do phone but I'm sure it'll be my luck that the online dining system won't do it for me!:lmao:

online booking opens at 3 AM Eastern Standard time, phone booking at 7 AM EST. I just did my online booking Monday at 3 AM and it worked like a charm. Then called at 7 AM for CP. Got everything I wanted.

That's what I needed to hear! I am hoping to do the same thing tomorrow!

Just a suggestion, at the risk of stating the obvious. I found that it helped to practice making an ADR beforehand, to familiarize myself with the site and the procedures. If you're staying onsite, put in your reservation number and other info, to be sure the sytem recognizes it. You can pull up your reservation before your 90 day window opens. Then pick a restaurant and fool around choosing dates just to see what the other screens look like. It helped me to be very efficient when it came time to make my ADR's - and at 3 AM, I didn't want to be wasting any time!

I have a question about booking online. I have never done this. I have two ressies, my first, Dec 17, 18 at WL and then Dec 19-22 at BCV. Anyone have experience with the online system recognizing that these are back to back ressies and that I should definitely get my 90+10? I am concerned that the computer will see that we check out on the 18th and not let me continue to make the rest of my ressies, but I know I should be able to make all of them(have talked with several CMs about it and have done so in the past)
Thanks!

Thanks, will do. I think I have played around with it enough and seen about all I can, but I may be surprised!

Do not wait until 7 am eastern to book your ressies. The online system is up and ready by 3:30 eastern time. I was able to get everything I wanted except Ohana was a later time then I wanted. Ohana seems to be the new Le cellier when it comes to ressies. They even had openings for CRT!

Well, I tried online at 3am, to no avail. It took an hour for the system to stop giving me error messages when I tried to link to resort reservations, and then it double-booked the same meals, and finally, it gave me no confirmation numbers. I called at 7am on the dot, got a very slow CM to look up LC for CP after 8 minutes, who I lost thanks to cell service. Called back and all LC CP are booked for all shows for all days during our stay. Got Chefs de France instead, and every other ADR I wanted within 15 minutes of when I wanted it. CM who set them all up said that although online search opens at 3, it isn't fully operational until 6. :confused3

I could not get the online system to recognize our reservation at 3 a.m. today (nor the past two days), so I waited and called at 7 a.m. I had no trouble getting what we wanted: CRT, Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, Le Cellier, CP at R&C were the biggies. The CM was wonderful--she did say Disney was having trouble with the online system and was trying to fix the problem of it not recognizing reservation numbers.

Total time on the phone was 24 minutes and she made the ADRs in two batches, saying that the system will only do 6 in a cart at a time. I thought the time was pretty good considering we had one prepaid ADR and three with credit card guarantees.

I like this idea. Do you actually BOOK a reservation and then cancel it out to make sure it works or do you just play in the search area? I'm worried it won't actually BOOK. Also, how do you know your 90+10 will work on your adr day? I'm worried about that too! All i've done is plug in my ressie number to make sure it would be identified. It told me taht my ressies would all be tied to the vacation ressie. is that right?

As people suggested, I just tried to go online and "practice" even though we're not in my 90 day window yet. I got this error message: "The resort reservation(s) you were trying to retrieve cannot be found. Please check that youve entered the correct confirmation number."

I note that it is a DVC reservation. Any suggestions?

I booked at 4am central time and I called later and all my ressies were confirmed eventhough I didnt get a confirmation email on 2 of them.

CabOad, no, I didn't actually book. I just played around to familiarize myself with the various windows. And I wanted to be sure it would recognize my reservation number. For everyone getting the long error code that begins with E, many people have been getting that. It's just the system being fritzy, which has happened a lot this past week. If you keep trying, or close the browser and reopen, or even reboot your computer, it usually goes away. When you do actually choose a suggested ADR time, it will put that reservation in your cart and hold it for you, so you can continue making other ADRs. If the particular ADR needs a credit card guarantee, it will ask for that info.
