We are thinking of going to WDW after our cruise next year. What time do you think we would get to the parks?

Depends on what time you leave the ship. It's about an hour to an hour and a half drive to WDW.

Depending on traffic, once you're in your car and driving, it will take about an hour to get to Disney World.

We were off the 4/24 - 27 Wonder cruise at 8.00 am, had checked into All Star Sports by 9.05 am and had caught the bus and entered MGM Studios by 9.30 am ( and that was after getting up at 6.00 am for immigration - cos we're from the UK ).

Talk about lucky.

Wow! Great! We are going on a 4 day next year and wanted to go to WDW for Thursday and Friday night and I wasn't sure if it would be worth going to a park on Thursday. But it sounds like we could go to parks on both Thursday and Friday (maybe go to Epcot on Thursday because it is open the latest).

Thanks!

Can I tell you how blown away we were by the disembarkation process....we just got back from our first (and not last) yesterday.
We left the cabin at 8:00 - went and had the breakfast buffet - walked down the gangplank (by ourselves) at 8:40; immediately found our suit cases, repacked some stuff into them in the parking lot, headed off and were at MGM before it opened at 10:00.....

I am SO glad to hear this! We are going on a 4 day, and since we get off on Thursday I want to be able to go over to the parks that day, spend the night at WDW, and then go to the parks again the next day.

Thanks for information! This sounds like it is going to work out great!
