Driving. I freakin love driving. I love being in control of a motor vehicle. I love being in control out on the road with other traffic. I have no access to my cell phone. I am paying attention to everyone else at all times. I drive aggressively defensively. I put myself in the best position to avoid anything that someone else may cause to happen. I do drive fast when the road is open, but cautiously when it's not. I place myself around all of you so that an emergency on your behalf does not constitute an emergency on mine. Of course, where I live has a lot to do with that ability as I am not bumper to bumper in Pittsburgh traffic like conditions.
I drive a lot out in the country with no one around. I enjoy a good bit of sporty driving. I love mastering every little nuance of cars. I don't drive sports cars, high performance cars, or anything special. Regular cars are more fun to drive than any sort of performance cars because you can't make them go fast.
And don't get a picture in your head just yet. When I say sporty driving, I am not saying barreling down the road at 100 mph. While you may be up ahead of me a good ways doing a normal 50ish MPH like everyone else, I'm back a quarter mile behind you braking, diving into the corner, and accelerating decently hard out of the corner, but yet I am not getting up to any speed to catch up to you. I'm just having fun tossing the car in corners and accelerating out, but not in any sort of fast speeds.
