What theme park just does not thrill you that much?

For me it's MGM. I absolutely love Fantasmic, and I think its the best thing at Disney, if it weren't for that and Star Tours, I could honestly skip MGM. I am going to try on my next trip to get more into this park. MGM is very hard to navigate. I am not the greatest park reader and MGM is very hard to fiqure out. So again, reply if you like - What is you least favorite Disney Park?

Animal Kingdom, it's fun and all and I am greatly anticipating Mt. Everest Expedition, but if I had to skip one...

After our first trip there in Feb. we all decided (my mom, dad, DH, and I) that we would only go back there for Lion King, KS, Dinosaure and EE when it opens. Our Disney time is too precious and we just didn't feel the rest was super extraordinary...

Animal Kingdom. Maybe because we go in August and it seems to be hotter there then the other parks.

Animal Kingdom is the park we skip whenever we don't have enough time to visit all the parks. There are a few attractions that we enjoy--the safari, Dinosaur, and I love to watch the gorillas. But, these aren't enough to justify squeezing in a visit on short trips. Come to think of it, we haven't been there on either of our last two Disney vacations.

I would never miss a park, but we spend the least time at Animal Kingdom.

We actually avoid AK, its always hotter there, its laid out horribly and I just don't like it, none of the rides do anything for me.

We *may* go there once this trip to see the parade and festival of the lion king, but thats it.

I'm not the biggest fan of Epcot but DH LOVES it. We also spend the least amount of time at AK b/c not as much to see IMO and always very hot/humid.

We do plan to go to AK in the late afternoon this time when we go and take advantage of the evening magic hours. I think this will make us discover a whole new side to the park and I am excited.

It's a toss up for us, MGM has a few things that are geared towards little kids (4 and 18mo) so we end up spending about a 1/2 day there. We did get TONS of autographs there, come to think of it, that's what we did about half of the time we were there. AK isn't that wonderful, but DS is a HUGE dinosaur fan, so we spend quite a bit of time in Dinoland (Boneyard, The Cretacious Trail). We love Festival of the Lion King, but haven't tried Tarzan or Pocahontas. I could spend my entire vacation at Epcot and MK.

but only if you went commando and only saw your "must-sees". I think Animal Kingdom can easily be done in a half day but MGM would not be for us...It would just depend on how much you want to see. If it's everything, it would be an exhausting day - even during value seasons I would think.

Rack me up in the Animal Kingdom Column.

There is such a long walk between attractions, and while the scenery is pretty, the long hot walk always seems to take a toll on my little ones.

When the new coaster opens, I will, of course, have to try it, but really, the only thing I truly enjoy at Animal Kingdom is the Kali River Rapids, and even there, I feel I wait on line for 45 mins to an hour minimum for what seems like an exceptionally short ride.

I wouldn't recommend both AK and MGM in one day. It really does come down to personal tastes and the ages of your children, but our family loves MGM. Our highlights always seem to include:

Tower of Terror
Rock and Roller Coaster
Lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine in
Star Tours
The Great Movie Ride
Muppets 3D
Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Playohouse Disney Live
Dinner at the Hollywood and Vine
Fantasmic

Sort of a lot for a half a day (especially if you want to hit ToT and Rock and Roller Coaster more than once).

Like I said though, it is a matter of personal preference - YMMV - Your Mileage May Vary

Animal Kingdom and MGM.. However, if I have time on this trip I'm going to give them both a second look.. My last time at those 2 parks was under very depressing circumstances - was in AK on the morning of 9/11 - and a few days later when we went to MGM, it was literally a ghost town - you could look down any street and not even seen 10 people..

I don't think there was a parade in AK back in Sept. of 2001 nor did we see one in MGM.. I do remember that AK was VERY humid though, so if I give it another shot, I'm going to try for VERY early in the morning!
