What the scariest ride?????????

What's the scariest ride you've EVER been on, WDW or anywhere else?
Its a small world....we were stuck for 35 minutes in once spot :teeth:

I'm a huge ride whimp, so the scariest ride I've ever been on would be a cake walk for most of you.

Anyway, the scariest ride for me was the rollercoaster at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas - thought I was gonna die! :scared1: Of course after it was over, and I realized I was still alive, somehow it then became a fun ride, albiet one I will NEVER RIDE AGAIN! :rotfl:

Here's a link to info about it, along with a video.

As far as WDW goes, I'm trying to talk myself into trying the Tower of Terror this January, but I'll admit....I'M SCARED! Not sure if I'll do it or not.

I would have to say Dinosaur at WDW is pretty intense...

top thrill dragster. 0 to 120 mph in 4 seconds. 400+ feet up then 110 to 115 mph back down. some times you don't make it over. so you go backwards at 100 mph. its at cedar point. love then place

I don't really do rides so well, so Space Mountain made me cry afterwards. I was really.....really not ok after that. lol

KYCruisecrazy, I heard that the top thrill speed dragster was over the top intense. Did it scare you badly?
Is there anything to compare it to and what was the worst part, going up or coming down?

The scariest ride I've ever been on is The Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere hotel/casino in Las Vegas. :scared1: :faint:

Scariest would be the Supreme Scream at Knott's
http://www.knotts.com/park/tour/brdwalk/sscream.shtml

You go up slowly over 250 feet and then they leave you up there for a while before you drop down at 50 mph. I'm afraid of heights and this didn't help. I did it once and I will never ever get back on that thing.

As for the wildest ride, that would be X at 6-flags Magic Mountain. That roller coaster alone is great, but add seats that independely rotate 360 degrees and you are in for the craziest ride of your life.

If the seats thing doesn't make sense, check out this diagram:
http://www.ultimaterollercoaster.com/coasters/reviews/x/x_sfmm_train.shtml

Imagine, for example, going into a loop looking forward, and coming out backwards, head down. Amazing.

I agree! The first time I rode this I was scared!! I screamed a lot!

Alien Encounter scared me a ton too. I'm glad that's gone.

I love Skull Mountain at Six Flags Great Adventure. It's an indoor roller coaster. You can't see *anything* coming. I love it! Just like TOT for me the best part is not knowing what is going to happen. :duck:

The scarest rides I've been on are the ones at the traveling carnivals. You know the ones that look like they are going to fall apart at any second. In WDW I would have to say ToT. I've never been so scared. ToT is still the one ride I don't need ride more then once in a trip.

At WDW, it would be Dinosaur. I hate haunted houses, and that dinosaur you keep going towards at the end is just like someone jumping out at you at a hunted house. :scared1:

i wasn't to scared but i saw many getting off the ride that looked like they saw a ghost. i love a good fast coaster. next year we spend a week at cedar point and 2 weeks at WDW. heights scare me so this was fun with my eyes closed LOL comming down backwards is the worst thing. its not too common but it happens.

I'm pretty wimpy, but I have handled everything at WDW OK, but ToT was the most unnerving. I'll ride it once or twice each trip, but not more.

BUT, (on separate occasions) my 16 yo niece and 21 year old summer intern were UNGLUED by Dinosaur--and they both love coasters, etc. Both were terrified and in tears only 1/2 way through the ride. I felt awful about it.....

I think it's called "The Wild Mouse" at Hersheypark, PA I love rollercoasters, but this ride completely freaked me and my whole family out! So much we had to keep riding!!!

I havn't been on that ride since about a year after it opened. When we first went on it was great because it really was comepletely dark, but then the next year i went on and they had all dumb black lights with neon stuff on the tracks....just not as fun. I havn't been on it since so I don't know what its like now.

At that same park they now have a ride called Kinda Ka, and all it is is one hill you go over and then do like 90degrees straight down, makes your stomach angry, lol

heres a cool video of it
