I was playing fireworks.

Yah that's me at 1st place with 249k points. The first time in my life.
But, thanks to my luck, guess what happened. VMK didn't give me the fireworks pin. :furious: :furious: :furious: :guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

That's because to get the fireworks magic pin, you need to get over 240,000 and not get 1st place

I felt the same way when I first got over 240k, but once you get into the point area, the game becomes easier for you

How is it ever possible for you guys to get that high? I am lucky if I hit 200,000.
it is a deep sickness that makes us play that darn game over and over and over again until we can get that much...

I even shelled out real money for a new mouse to help me get better... now I blame the speed of my connection........

Yes. The way they have it set up is totally wrong. The penalize us for actually winning.

And you get to 240k by playing lots and lots and lots of games. It took me 6 months to get 240k. :)

Well, I play video games a lot so I think that helps me. And I play many games one after another until I get bored. I don't know how I do it with the mouse I have though. I usually get 230k or 238k. Every firework thingy makes a difference.

Actually, the real issue is the speed of your computer's processor. If you computer isn't brand new then your processor is probably slowing you down. Gah, I hate how fast computers become obsolete.

Seriously, my score went from less than 40,000 to over 200,000 just by getting a new computer. It turns out I don't stink at fireworks at all, but my old computer does! :rotfl:

I have never even gotten close to 200,000.But my computer is not exactly new..

I think fire works is a bit unfair .. it gives a ton of credits! I wish they would even the games out instead of making Jungle Cruise pointless at 20 Credits, Pirates 100 credits (Level three) and fire works 150 being the lowest prize. Jungle Cruise takes the longest of all three and pays the worst .. what's up with that and Pirates requires you to have hundreds upon thousands of wins for great credits rewards :teacher:

The 20 credit reward for Jungle Cruise is just ridiculous. They were all at a nice level before, but dropped them.

I can easily get 20 credits in Jungle Cruise in 45 seconds. I also can get credits in Jungle Cruise without doing a thing after starting the game. Only way to earn credits while doing other things around the house.

Yes, I am sure you were, but nedding is a great credit builder. If you are doing housework, reading or watching tv, Ned is a great simple way to get tons of credits :rotfl2: Yes, my lazy way of getting credits :Pinkbounc

It is not an answer to the problem because I totally agree that it is pointless to play JC except first thing in the morning I get about 1500 credits for 2 High scores. :rolleyes1 pirate:

I was so proud of the placement of these scores. :Pinkbounc pirate:

Kudos Speedy, I am not too fond of JC ... mainly because of it's slow pace ;). I almost forgot about Mansion, that game gives a fair amount of credits but dcs and or a player drops out far too often! :hmghost:

qruthie is right. I do blame both connection and proccesser but most of the time it's the proccessor. I used to use a Dell from 2001 and I would be lucky to survive Nedding. But then I got a new Dell 5150 and BAM! 239,000 in fireworks! Though, it's best to also have a minimum of 54 Mbps and not 11Mbps like my router does. :D My Dell may have bad connection, but it loads everything the fastest out of all (3-4) the computers in my house.
