Let's face it... we all do stupid things. Those little "d'oh!" moments where you wish you could rewind for a few seconds and have a do-over. Since life doesn't give us do-overs, the best we can do is hope nobody was watching and then laugh about it later.

So come on --
Post your stupid moment(s) of the day here!

I'll get us started...

I put my contacts in the wrong eyes this morning.

Put an extra 50lbs on the bench press this morning. Why? The same reason I always do stoopid things. There's was this hot chick in the gym.....:headache:

Ran 3 miles then came home and ate 3 cookies:sad2: :confused3

Well, I was definitely "stupider" yesterday - skipped the gym because I'm still messed up from the time change and ate an entire box of Caramel Delights GS cookies (well, 2 of them my son ate).

Stupid Move for Today - got out of bed

I'm doing a mailing at work; sealed and put postage on the envelopes. Didn't put contents in the envelopes. Oops!

Had to unseal and stuff the envelopes. Thank goodness there were only 5 envelopes.

So far nothing, but wait there is still plenty of time left for this day.

Well, I haven't done anything stupid today, but the day's not over yet.

Yesterday I ate half a box of Girl Scout Chocolate Mint Cookies.....oh, wait a minute, I did do something stupid today....I ate the other half box of the same cookies.

LOL!! I do that all the time - I don't even count it as a stupid moment, just part of getting dressed before I'm awake - lol.

I miss extended wear contacts REALLY BADLY!

My stupid thing happened yesterday. I haven't been awake long enough to do anything stupid yet today - lol. (I'm still in my pj's and glasses! LOL)

As I was walking out the door to go to work, my sitter called. She had a family emergency and couldn't come. (please do not flame my sitter for the short notice - it was a serious sudden thing and she's been my sitter for years).

So anyway, I'm freaking out wondering who will pick up one DD from sports and take the other to dance. Usually I can call my MIL for last minute stuff, but I couldn't find her (she doesn't have a cell phone). One of my friends lives nearby and she's a teacher at DD's school, and she's told me if anything ever happened, she could bring DD home with her. So I tried to call her, but she had already left the school. I was completely freaking out, thinking my dd would be left at school, and who else could go get her, and I was actually on the phone with the school secretary to see if I could get her into aftercare, when she came home on the bus. Sports ended last week! DUH!! I knew that!!! LOL!!

Then I was finally able to get in touch with my MIL, who was able to fill in. So it all ended well. Except I was 10 mins late to work. Which actually wasn't that bad, considering I left 20 mins late. (I do normally get there about 10 mins early as parking can be an issue, but wow, getting there late, I got an awesome parking place and walked right in! LOL!)

I did one of my stupidest moves EVER yesterday...sent DD6's teacher an email regarding a concern we had...nothing major, IMO, but we wanted to make teacher aware that DD went to the school office by herself on Monday and was not comfortable, wishing she had a partner as there were "scary older boys" in the hallway...just wanted to let the teacher know and to let her have a partner from now on (this is actually the teacher's policy, so we weren't sure why DD went on her own except she is a confident kid...) Anway, I hit send and then realize I have sent email to ENTIRE class! I am the room parent and instead of sending to Miss X, I sent to Miss X Class in my address book...DOH! Now several parents wrote to her concerned for the safety of the class, etc! I felt so bad I apologized profusely to the teacher. She sent messages out assuring parents what the policy was, etc. She said she told DD to get a partner but she probably just left on her own in the confusion of the morning "put stuff away" routine...I feel so bad, I didn't mean to put her in that position! I have never sent a mistake email like that before! :sad2:

I'm truely impressed you were able to get 2 servings out of a box of Girl Scout cookies. I was pretty sure they only had 1 serving per box :rolleyes1

I agree GS cookies have one serving a box and u must eat the whole serving after opening or they get spoiled. This is a known accepted fact.

I bothered to try to clarify some idiot's misunderstanding. It was a waste of time b/c they just didn't get it.

I just pruned one of the rose bushes, while wearing open back sandals. :scared1:
Then after cutting off a particularly long sucker with several wicked thorns....stepped on it with my heel....then went to pull the sucker out from behind my foot.

Nice big rip in my heel. :headache: Sigh....well...at least I keep the Neosporin and Bandaid people happy.

Ouch!

At least you can be doing gardening! We are still in winter mode!

Last night, DS was playing "Going shopping" with one of our fanny packs..and my wallet!:scared1:

I forgot to get it back from him before he went to bed last night and forgot about it till a little while ago when I went to check the balance on my credit card. I couldn't find my wallet anywhere.

Then I remembered DS put my wallet in his backpack..which is at school. I called his teacher and yup..it's there. She's going to give it back to me at pickup.
