What studios do you think are too small for the murphy beds (if any)?

The murphy beds, for us, are a game changer. Additionally, we like to stay in studios most of the time. Can you think of any studios whose configuration might not allow for the murphy beds upon refurbishment? They do have to fold all the way down, so that is plopping a queen bed right in the middle of a studio floor plan.

They put Murphy beds in Pop rooms. I don't think any studios would be smaller than that.

I doubt we will see them in OKW studios, as all studios have 2 real queen beds, and can covert into a two bedroom lock-off unit. There are no dedicated studios at OKW.

The Murphy sofa bed when opened up is shorter than the old sofa beds. So they should fit. They will probably never be used at OKW since they have 2 queen beds and the 1,2, and 3 bedrooms have windows behind the sofa beds, so the Murphy beds would block windows.

I am sooo hoping that the next renovation at Boardwalk has murphy beds....the sofa beds are terrible.

That would be great for the BLT studios. Would really like the smaller drop down under the TV console too. They could make it work I’m sure.
Would like one of those in the BWV one bedrooms...the smaller drop down under the TV. So ridiculous that a studio sleeps 5 but a one bedroom sleeps four.

The configuration of the 1 bedroom made the space too small to add the one under the TV.

This is one of my concerns. I love CCV, but like I said, no Murphy beds is a non-starter. I thought BLT studios might be too small.

I’m bringing my tape measure on my next trips. There is more floor space in the living room. The thing the TV sits on is big and clunky. What takes up space is the darned cushions from the sofa bed. Maybe a slimmer version? Wishful thinking?

It had to do with the breakfast bar and the door to the other bedroom for lock offs.

Now, maybe when they do the full refurb they will find a way!

They better do it at soft refresh time just like the Poly. Unless they are going to treat it like BRV and do it, well, never.

The Murphy beds take up less room than the sofa beds do and they did put them in the PVB rooms.

Yes the adjoining door from 1 bedroom to studio is in the living room part of the 1 bedroom. At SSR that door is behind the kitchen part next to the hallway, allowing a full wall to put the small bed under the TV. To add it at BWV it would need some redesigning. Not impossible, but it would take time and money.
