What states have spring break this week?

Hi

I am trying to go on a short mid week vacation. I know NY has vacation this week and flying is going to be close to impossible. I am thinking of Massachusetts or possibly Portsmouth NH. I would love to see the ocean again and am looking for a relaxing vacation. I just wondered what areas I should avoid because of spring break.

Both Massachusetts and NH(at least Dover, NH)have school vacations this week. It might be a bit busier at the Maine coastline, but certainly nothing like summer. I can't see that Portsmouth, NH would be affected too much as it's not a beach destination. I usually go to Ogunquit, ME when I'm up that way.

Massachusetts has spring break this week, so everything around the area is CROWDED!!!

well, I am in Mass, and happen to see a ton of people that have headed out to Florida this week! I think anywhere you may pick in that area should be fine! I worked the mall this past week, and it just was not bad at all!

I live in NY and we do not have spring break this week

RI/MA has spring break this week, although many of our friends and family we are leaving out of state to vacation.

I wish our part of NY (Long Island) had spring break this week and not during Easter. I would be on a Disney cruise right now.

In 2008, we had our spring break a few weeks after Easter, I think it was because Passover was late that year, and it was great. We did the Western itinerary. Now I want to do the Eastern itinerary

We were at the Hollywood Studios Friday and I couldn't believe how many kids there were. I thought breaks were pretty much over, but there were kids from all over the country. We had originally gone to the Magic Kingdom, but the lines for the monorail were backed up all the way down the ramp.

Maine's out this week; means I get to go to the gym first thing in the morning, rather than whenever I can squeeze it in!!

Only parts of NH have vacation this week. Portsmouth does not.

My relatives in NY had their spring break already (right around Easter).

Spring Break here! DS's are happily in their pj's watching Jetson's reruns with DH. DH took vacation this week too. (I have to work - I took off February vacation to be with them!) One of my many bosses is in WDW though...he was telling me about his airfare prices..Yeesh! We'll stay here and relax this time around!
