Does your area have any sports that are very popular? I would think that hockey would be the most popular here. How about your area?

There a lot od popular sports in my area, football (well soccer) rugby, basketball, cricket, field hockey ( we are one of the best teams in the country ).

well fall is volleyball(we were ranked 5th in nation this year)and our football sucks but still kinda popular

basketball and soccer are mild

in spring baseball and softball are HUGE!
our baseball won state in '95 and went to state last year

where i live football and basket ball are probably the most popular sports with the guys and volleyball and cheerleading are the most popular with the girls

In my area Basketball (MJ all the way!), football (we Redskins fans are very loyal!) and baseball (We'll always miss Cal). DC united is bad but the Hispanic community is into soccer. Overall though most people aren't. At my school it's all these things as well as LaCrosse, our Basketball team was undefeated last year and we've only lost twice this year.

Football is popular, supporting our high school team, and basketball is popular, not so much at school, although we do have a good team. Most people are just big Lakers fans. (Including me, been one since I was a baby.)

Basketball had a jump start this year by cotnendiing for the states but i am soph. adn our class of bball players are good enough to be nationaly ranked... yes nationally ranked because we are that good by going 18-1

Football, Basketball, and Soccer are really big at my school. Our football team made it too play offs but lost in the first round. Our soccer team went to playoffs and lost the first round also. Basketball is the biggest sport at our school, last year we went to the CIF Playoff game, but this year we lost in the final four before the CIF game... it sucked! Our basketball team went undefeated in thier league, and was i think 24-5 in the whole season? it was soo much fun! and by me being a cheerleader, i was at all the games supporting them all the way! GO CAVERS!
