DH was just sitting on our old bed in the guest room. A full size bed we slept on for 12 years. He was wondering how in the world we ever lived through that. (and 2 pregnancies)

We have a king size bed now and it is roomy. Enough for us, the kids and the cat to cuddle weekend mornings. :goodvibes

So what size is your bed?

We started out with a full, switched to a Queen when we moved to FL, then bought a King when DD broke our bed jumping and swinging on the bedposts. I suspect we'll end up with twin beds when one or the other of us becomes incontinent some day. :earseek:

We have a queen and boy does it seem small.

I suppose that next you'll be asking me my weight??? :rotfl:

We have a queen bed. I would have liked a King, but when we got our bedroom set our master bedroom at the time was teeny and a King would not have fit. We crammed it full of furniture, knowing that we wouldn't live there forever, but couldn't get bigger than a queen bed.

And I weigh 15 pounds more than I told the MVA yesterday when renewing my drivers license!

I would never ever ever sleep in a full sized bed with another adult....before I upped to a queen I shared my bed with just my daughter and I figured if she was going to sleep with me for who knows how long I better get a bigger bed...my parents slept in a full sized bedand I don't know how in the world the did it...I don't like anyones body touching or to close to me when I sleep so I like my space! One guy I dated long term was a "snuggler" when he slept...I knew that relationship could never work out after learning that!

We have a cal king and boy its huge compared to our queen sized bed we gave to our 8 year old DD. When I look at it now I dont know how we ever fit in it for 7 years :rotfl:
Now that my DD has the queen sized bed my other children love sleeping with her, if I would of known that we could of saved tons of money and bought a smaller house :rotfl2: ( only kidding)

King Size here - good thing too since our boys like to come down and join us in the mornings. LOL.

:rotfl: :rotfl: Only if there is a weight limit on the bed, and I am sure you and Dh and kids combined are under that.

We had a full size because the room was so small even a queen would of been a tight fit. Now that we added on and the new master bedroom upstairs is so nice and big we decided as long as we were getting a bigger bed, why not go really bigger. I must admit it sometimes seems like along way to the other side of the bed, but I am adjusting just fine. ;)

Tiffann4k, my friend had the same problem, but worse. She had a new baby and her 4 year old wouldnt get out of there room too so all 4 of them the dog and 2 cats were all sleeping in one room. What cracked me up is they moved 30 miles father away from us to get a new bigger house, they didn't need it!

(she has sense managed to get both kids in their own room. :goodvibes

Another queen bed here...

Thinking about moving to a King so there will be ample room for my hubby, DD, and our new dachshund!!!

Gotta have room for the whole family.

I have a King. I get to sleep on about a 2 foot wide strip of bed nearest the bedroom door....and a 4 legged furry faced creature that is in my signature owns the rest of the bed.

At least our kids stay out of our bed, so we don't have that issue (trust me, I have enough other issues, it's nice for there to be one issue that I don't have :teeth: ). My DH doesn't like animals sleeping with us (no comment :rolleyes1 ) so they all go out at night. Good thing because with 2 kittens in the house I wouldn't get any sleep. The only time we let the cats sleep with us is after we get back from a vacation--if we don't one of our cats cries ALL night long because he has missed us so much. It's so pathetic that we have just given in and let him sleep with us that night or we don't get any sleep.

King sized here & sometimes wish we could have bigger! When our 2 DS's (age 10 & 4) jump in our bed, there really isn't enough room! Of course, that usually only happens during a thunder storm or a heavy rain storm. :umbrella:

My parents also had a full all their lives. I swear, I don't think I'm comfy in a full all by myself!

A king size bed for me, the 3 dogs and the cat. :flower:

King size and NOTHING else will do except CALI KING! DH and I are tall people with long legs and "weird" sleeping positions  so a king size bed keeps us sane. Had a CALI KING waterbed, but I was OVER that waterbed after the 3rd year....drain it, unstack it, move it, place it, stack it, fill it...over and over again! It was what was called a two level waterbed??? It had drawers on both sides for clothes. I literally had to get on my tippy toes at times to get into that blasted bed! :snooty: No more waterbeds for DH and I. Very happy with my king size bed AND my mattress that DOES NOT have to be flipped. :teeth:

We have a full. I honestly dont think anything larger would be appropriate with the size of our bedroom, but we may be able to squeeze a queen in here if we had the money.

It can be a tight fit, as ds has sleep with us every night since he was born ;) So we have two adults, ds, and my little preggo belly before long all in this little bed.

I find it very cozy. I cant wait to come to bed and read books each night.

We have a queen bed. We'd like a king, but doubt we could find our discontinued bedframe in a king and our queen does not convert to a king doggone it.
