what size Duffy to buy?

I was looking for a duffy for my two girls and did not know what size to buy 17'' or 12''? can any one help with which one to choose? thanks

We got the 17 inch Duffy because you can get outfits for it. DD and DS are getting them for Christmas!

17" for sure for the outfits, plus if you get a shellie may from Japan it will be the same size

I agree, 17". Also the Duffy outfits will fit a few of the other 17" Disney plush. My son saw a Stitch dressed in the pirate outfit on vaca and loved it.

Duffy comes in 28", 17" and 12" - the 28" and 17" no clothes attached, the 12" outfit comes attached

thank u. that is what I thought. but a cast member over the phone said 15'' and i think was talking about 12". I was going to buy the bear and 3 outfits for 30.00. is that a good deal?

17" Duffy is $30 on the disneystore.com website and outfits are around $15 - 20ea so if you are getting all 4 things from Disney for $30 that's a great deal

I just looked on ebay and didn't see any fakes at all, there is one person selling them for $83 shipped and that isn't too badly priced considering the high shipping costs from Japan. I do have a contact that I buy Tokyo merchandise from if you want to pm me I'll give you her contact info however it will probably be around the same price as the person on ebay, as she does charge a slight markup for her time plus paypal fees and shipping costs. I just checked the current conversion rates for yen and actually it's about $50US as she retails for 3800Y.

Duffy is Mickey's teddy bear. He's Build a Bear for WDW, there are clothes and accessories that you can buy for him. He's extremely popular in Japan.

Go for the 17" if you plan on buying the outfits for him. Otherwise if you think one of the already dressed 12" is cuter get that, but know that the outfits won't fit that one.
