Soft as a downy chick (mine is!)

We had a full size (not queen) for the 1st 11 years of our marriage, 2 pregancies. I had enough. At the time a full was all that would fit nicely in that room. Well we added on to our house and have a new BIG bedroom and we have a king size bed. I LOVE it.

Sometimes it does feel like "come over and visist sometime" to my DH though. It doesn't feel so big on Saturday mornings when it is me, DH, the 2 kids and a cat in it though.

I have a twin size. I've got it loaded up with a down featherbed and a couple down comforters. It's like sleeping on a giant cloud, and it's big enough for me, and on occassion three tiny chihuahuas (you'd be suprised how much room they can take up sometimes though).

In our previous house pre Katrina we had a wonderful King size bed. Now I am grateful that a queen size bed fits in our house.

DW and I have a king size. We upgraded from a queen about 20 years ago after DS was born. When we travel to soccer/basketball tourneys, we need to make special deals because we can't sleep that close to each other. We need room. Twin DD's (16) need their own bed.

OHHHH, I LOVE that book "roll over, roll over and they all rolled over and one fell out!!!"

We have a king size bed for DH and I and our toy poodle. I don't like to be touched when I sleep (unless its the dog ). The king size bed gives us the room we want when we need it.

We just went from a full to a Queen (select comfort) .

DH & I bought an ETHAN ALLEN Queen size bed in 1980 when we got married. We would LOVE (now 25 years later) a KING size bed but we spent so much for this set years ago it would be a crime to get rid of it....????

Whenever we stay at hotels we always get a KING bed and we LOVE the size of the king.

BTW we just bought new STEARNS/FOSTER mattress/box spring for the bed so I know we won't be upgrading to a king anytime soon. We usually get new mattresses every 8 years.

King, and it has ruined us forever.

I always had a queen during my single days, and never had any problems with it, plenty of room for me and whomever I chose to share it with....but once I met DH and his big honking king size mattress...that was all she wrote.

That's been nine years ago, and we have a very hard time sleeping comfortably in a queen size bed now, and you can forget us sleeping in a full size. We have to be heavily Ambiened out or neither one of us will get a wink of sleep.

It kind of stinks..because we're never quite comfortable on vacation unless we can get a king room, and buying linens SUCKS because they're so expensive!
