What Signature Dining Experiences are most worth the 2 TS credits?

Since we are considering doing both DDP AND club level this year, we are thinking about doing a Signature Dining experience with 2 TS this year. What do you think would be most worth our credits? We have never done Hoop-Dee-Doo, so that is one consideration. We are about 3 1/2 months out from our vacation and we haven't booked any ADRs, so that is something I'll definitely have to take into account. In other words, no Le Cellier or CRT for me! We are also planning on staying at BC Resort.

I wouldn't count CRT (and even Le Cellier) out totally. CRT has been available a few months out lately. So it's worth a shot if you really want to eat there. Staying at BC you have Flying Fish and Yachtsman right in your vicinity, and I've heard wonderful things about both.

I question whether Les Cellier will really be worthwile for 2 credits, will need to see the new menu and reviews after the transition.

In terms of pure dollar value, if you like lobster, then Narcoose's is the best use of the credits. But that's simply if you want to maximize the dollar value.

Since the DP began, DH & I would do one 2 credit meal a trip. Over the last 2 years we began to re evaluate the use of our credits. We always used them at Citricos or Cal. Grille. The meals were very good, but honestly, since you don't get the appetizer or tips included any more, we found it hard to justify 2 credits just for main course. The last trip, we decided that the meals were almost the same (just slightly better) than many of the table service restaurants in Epcot. Is an extra credit worth it for slightly better? That is something you have to decide. We are not doing any 2 credits this time and we'll see how we like it.

MrsG, I think you have a good point. We have never done a TS that required 2 credits and have always been more than happy with the food AND the savings. We have never done Hoop-De-Doo. I'd like to and have actually already booked it, but may re-evaluate to see if it would really be worth my DP credits. What do you think?

Havoc, I have never done Le Cellier. I keep hearing about how great it is and I have always tried to get an ADR, but never could get one. If I do it, I'm seriously considering lunch. Based on allears menus, it seems like it's pretty much the same thing. And the lunch is supposedly only one credit.

We have always used 2TS to go to California Grill. We really like it there, and my DH (a reluctant Disney goer at first) proclaimed his meal at CG to be the second best of his life! That's high praise!

Another strategy to consider is paying OOP for a buffet style meal to save the TS credits, since you know the buffet price is fixed.

Michelle, you have hit upon my strategy. We're planning on doing an OOP breakfast at Tusker House so we can squeeze some Mickey time in. CG was at the top of my list to try. What do you like there?
