Definitely want to see Chicago again. Saw it in Chicago at the Shubert Theatre last year and it was awesome! Also have seen the Lion King in Toronto, as has my DD16 that I'm taking on this trip.

So what else should we see?

I saw Phantom of the Opera in the West End, London twice as it was so good so I can recommend that one!

I've always wanted to see Beauty & The Beast too.

My Fiance Tanya told me everyone must must MUST see Bombay Dreams :teeth:

THE LION KING!!!

We saw Wicked in July, and it was FANTASTIC!!!

However, we've seen B & B, LK (we'll be seeing this one again on Sat), Mamma Mia, Producers, Chicago, Phantom, and this trip we'll be seeing Boy From Oz and Toxic Audio.

Avenue Q is on our list too, but a lot of shows are closing. Go to www.playbill.com to get a better idea.

Have a great trip!!

If you can I'd see Boy from Oz...heard it was amazing, and it's closing soon so no chance after that.

Wicked is supposed to be great too.

Mamma Mia! is fabulous - but on tour, so you can probably catch it near home...see something you can only see in NYC.

Millie and Hairspray are really fun shows...Aida is amazing.

Do you only want to see main stream shows? There are some great ones "off-broadway".

What ever you see--have a great time!!

When are you coming???

Wicked is pretty much sold out until mid October. Aida is closing Sept 2. Millie has been closed for months. Little Shop is closed. Hairspray was excellent and tickets are available for it almost every night. B&B, Chicago, and even the Producers should have some tickets on some nights.

Check out www.HitShowClub.com for offers and discounts. www.Playbill.com also has discount offers.

ToxicAudio is an off Broadway show that is 5 voices singing a-cappella. The interesting thing for Disney fans is that 3 of the 5 performers used to sing with the Voices of Liberty. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Other than Disney, I would pretty much have to be hog-tied and dragged to a musical. That said, I heard Wicked is one of the best ever. Just passing the word:D

We just saw Wicked last weekend.....it is AMAZING! We absolutely loved it. It defintiely is now one of our favorite Broadway shows. We are trying to get tickets to see it again soon. I highly recommend it!!!!

Avenue Q was amazing.. hilarious.. we laughed our butts off..

probably it's humor geared towards Gen X'ers.. but it sure hit our funny bone.. the whole audience loved it

really clever.. really :)

Thanks for all the suggestions. To answer your questions: we're going Oct 17-20, just me and DD16.

Any recommendations for hotels near Times Square? Everything I'm seeing is $300+. Ugh :earseek:

We saw Phantom and Beauty and the Beast, both are wonderful! I voted for Phantom though, I'm wanting to see it again... :) Have fun!!!!
