Can I just say one of the main reasons we are staying at the Poly are the noodles (stir fry). They were soooooo good!!
Also the Self-Serve Dole Whip. Yum!!

We made some at home, sans the pineapple coleslaw (we had to use regular coleslaw), it was still great!! Pork butt makes the best pulled pork...I usually cook it in a crockpot all day while I'm at work, and then pull it apart and add BBQ sauce when I get home. Super easy and yummy!

Thanks for the tip about the pork butt! I have a slow cooker AND a pineapple sitting in my fridge (DH has been making me lapu lapus lately ). I have no idea how to make pineapple slaw, but I'm going to do a search. I feel so inspired about Aloha pork sandwiches!

My DH puts some mango nectar in it to sweeten it a little (cut the rum). For some reason, when he makes it without that, it tastes much stronger than the drink at the Poly. I think that they use another ingredient at the Poly not listed on the recipe, maybe pineapple juice? To hollow out the pineapple, you really need a pineapple corer, available at Williams Sonoma.
