What should we eat!? :-)

At Main Street Bakery you can get an ice cream sandwich made out of your choice of cookie( choc chip, sugar,???) and THREE scoops of your choice ice cream. GIANT and DELICIOUS!!! We split 3 between the five of us and some had to be thrown away:sad1: . Well worth the $$$. It was under $4 I believe!!!

I thought the Mickey ice cream sandwiches were a little "cleaner" to eat than the ice cream bars for my younger kids. The ice cream bars have a thick layer of chocolate-- which makes them sooo good, but a little messy.

My kids also really loved the corn dog nuggets in MK. They got some fries and dipped them in cheese sauce too. Not healthy in any way, but they had to have them twice on our trip.

We're thinking of trying the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream on the boardwalk. It says it's 8 scoops of ice cream, all the toppings in the house, and a WHOLE can of whipped cream for $21.99!! Yummy!! I saw a pic and it is served in a sink!

(we are only visiting the MK & DTD this time)
we set up a change jar 2 months agao and designated it our "MK treats fund"
it is for:

turkey legs
dole whips
mickey bars
hot dogs
double cheeseburgers
french fries
goofy candy company

** yesterday, we made a sheet to hang on the fridge, so we can write down what we are hungry for...it's filling up already ( this list in our whole trip dining options, not just WDW :wizard: )

i think when we tour resorts, we might have to stop and check out that Kitchen Sink

MK~Dole Whip Float located on right hand side as you go in Adventureland
~Yummy Cinnamon Buns (if I remember rightly 2.99) from the Main Street Bakery and actually large enough to share

HS~ Check out the Apothecary for yummy sweets and for us a do not miss is a caramel coated chocolate covered candy covered apple that they will cut into 6 pieces for you if you ask..It is much TOO sweet to eat a whole one by yourself :)
~Frozen Lemonade from the stand located on the left as you head towards ToT next to the McDonalds Fry stand
~ Next to the Brown Derby is a pastry shop that I have forgotten the name of but yummy pastries there
~ I also like to grab a tub of caramel popcorn in the souvenir container when I am watching Fantasmic
Epcot~ Pretzels
~You must go to Club Cool by the Fountain and try their free samples of soda...The "Beverly" is not for those with weak stomachs

AK~ unfortunately the only thing I have ever bought there aside from lunch or dinner has been an adult beverage from Yak-n-Yetis

DTD~ Go to Wetzels Pretzel and get a Pepperoni Pretzel...yummy :)
~ Goofys Candy Company has already been mentioned, they sell delicious caramel apples as well
~Ghiradellis for a nice ice cream treat or chocolate

If you are looking for a different type of meal while at the MK dont forget to check out The Noodle Station
If you are looking for delicious cheesecake check out Mamma Melrose's for a yummy Hazlenut Cheesecake. If you are in the mood for a great salad the Cobb Salad at The Brown Derby is great as well. If you are in the mood for alot of food and a lot of meat, make an ADR at Ohanas at the Polynesian. As my son will say 5 animals died to give you this meal and they have delicious bread pudding for dessert.

Enjoy your vacation:) and then come home and go on a diet....:lmao:

I had a pineapple dole whip while DH took the girls into the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House...It was a little chilly (12/12/08) and I got a few stares eating ice cream at 10:30 am!!!

Also one of my favourites and there is nothing weird about eating at any time of day.

I forgot to mention my other favourite.....the make your own treat at Goofy's in DTD. We love the pretzels. You get 3 pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and then covered in whatever candy you like and then you can add caramel drizzel. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

They also have the make you own apples, rice krispies and marshmallows. I can't remember if there is anything else.

Goofy's would really be a fun and tasty special treat.
