We are staying onsite at the Royal Pacific Hotel. We will be arriving around 5p.m. on the 27th of March which is a Saturday. I'm not sure what we should do our first night. There is my dh, and my 3 ds, (6,3,and 6 months.)

We were thinking about going to Mardi Gras for a little while, but, I don't know if that would be smart with all 3 kids on the last Saturday night of Mardi Gras.
We were thinking about going to the Luau at the hotel, but, don't know if the kids would sit for 3 hours after driving in the car all day.
We were thinking about going to see Scooby Doo 2 at Citywalk.
Or we were just thinking about heading down to Citywalk and walking around.
We plan on buying a 5 day park pass, so we could go into the park, but, not sure what we want to do.

Any advice?

From what I have heard about Mardi Gras (no personal experience) I do not think you want to head over to that as it sounds like it is a pretty rambunctious adult crowd.

If I were you, I would plan on a quiet evening at the hotel and early to bed so you can hit the ground running for the rest of your trip. How about dinner by the pool at RPR, or at one of the on-site restaurants? Spend some time getting the feel of the hotel. Maybe a trek over to City Walk and movie if the kids are up to it. I would not have an expectation, but several possibilities so you can judge what to do based upon how the kids are doing that evening.

With FOTL and 5 day passes you will have time to do everything you want without worrying about cramming a lot in the first day you are there.

Have a great trip. Wish ours was coming up so quickly!

I agree with above...or maybe booking a babysitter for a couple of hours. After being in the car all day with three children, maybe you and your hubby can take a nice leisurly dinner, just the two of you. That would give you time to relax and be ready and raring to go in the morning!

Take a dip in the pool, then get changed and take the water taxi to City Walk and roam around in there for awhile. The show sounds like a cool idea. :)
