58 days to go...what should I be doing??

I was really good about planning and getting things ready, but now that we're getting closer, I'm kind of stuck. I want to pack NOOOOWW!!! It seems to soon to go out and buy the necessaries (sunscreen, travel first aid kit, etc.), but I'm thinking it will all pile up on me if I wait.

The kids are getting itchy to do something, too. What have you done to get your kids through the last 50 days? Countdown calendars? Disney movie marathon?

Help a girl out, here!!

I have 111 days to go and I want to pack now as well
I have been picking up things here and there and putting them aside. That way I won't feel more overwhelmed than I know I will be.
This will be my girls first trip so ALOT excitment here. We have been going to Youtube to watch different rides so the girls can get an idea of what is there. I think as we get a little closer we will make a countdown calendar or a countdown chain.
I have been checking my flight information daily as it keeps changing. Not that much but enough to keep me on my toes.

It will get here before you know it! I feel like I just posted my 99 day !! I'm hoping these days go by as fast.

I put the fun things (new swimsuits, souvenirs, personalized shirts, etc.) in a box I started last summer. I was also working on plane activity books. I just feel like I want to do something RIGHT NOW!!

making envelopes for your tips?
making tee shirts for your family?

My kids & I have passed the time by making family sets of "Mickey Swirl-Head" shirts to wear. We got the idea & directions on the Creative DISigns forum here on the DIS. They look great!!

We have 71 days to go until my DD meets the Mouse and her favorite princess "Aurora" for her birthday!!! I am feeling anxious too, I still have a few t-shirts to make though so that should keep me busy!!! Hope you have a great trip and find something to do to keep your sanity until it is time to leave!!! And to be honest, I don't think it is too early to go out and buy the necessaries!!!

We leave in 15 days. I haven't started packing but I know exactly what cloths we are taking and I have a box full of park and car stuff that I keep adding to. I figured I would pack DD's next Wednesday when she is staying with my mom and then pack everything else Friday, Saturday and some on Sunday. To make things worse, DD has a dance recital the Saturday before we leave.

Do you have your custom outfits all picked out, ordered, in hand and in their respective plastic ziplocks for packing? Have you made out your itinerary with ADRs, primary sites to see/do, and outfits for each day?

I'm also buying little things here and there - and I'm over 7 months out, LOL. But if I buy a little each time I think of it or see something, then I won't be spending too much the last week or so.

I made invitations for the kids' birthday meals. They're pretty cute and easy to make. I haven't done the envelopes yet, but I am all over the shirts!! I made some tote bags and a skirt for DNiece so far. Those have definitely helped pass the time!

Ooh! You're so close!! DNiece is missing her dance recital while we're in Florida. She's not too crushed about it.

I've got the itinerary on the computer, I'm just trying to figure out a cute, compact way to put it together. I can't wait to start putting the outfits in the ziplocs. Nerd alert!!

I've been buying souvenirs and things since I started planning last summer, so all that's left are the basics for the parks. I'm ready for May to be here NOW!!!

we're down to 44 days until we leave. 51 days until we arrive at disney. (we're going to a wedding/visiting family on our way there) this is our first trip and we are all so excited.

i started packing in january. i made my lists and bought all toiletries, etc new so they could be packed away. i also packed the kids clothes. (it's still snowing, so i didnt think we'd be using the bathing suits before our trip...) all i have left are clothes for me and DH.

i was too excited to not pack, but now i feel anxious just sitting around waiting for the time to pass. i'm definitely more impatient than the kids. we've been doing disney movie night and my older DD & i have been reading a few disney-related fiction books (kingdom keepers, tom sawyer). i bought the t-shirts, but still havent made them. i guess that's what i'll be working on this weekend.

Do you still have the directions for the Swirl Mickey Heads? I would love to see what they look like too! We have 75 days as of tomorrow and if I could I would start packing now too! My husband just came by and said I was obsessed! He's right, but I think it's a good thing! All he has to do is pack his clothes and get in the car! I do all the rest! Best to go ahead and buy things ahead of time and the end won't be so bad!!! We are starting a countdown calendar tomorrow! I think it is still listed on the first page of this forum still. If not, it will be on page 2!
