What shoes???

We leave on Saturday and I will be taking several pair of Teva Mush flip flops and my "Mickey" Crocs and a pair of Croc Alice (for a few evening dinners). But I must say....I plan on living in my Teva Mush ( like I have all summer) and will leave the tennis shoes home for this trip. It gets too hot this time of year at WDW for tennis shoes.
My DH is a big tennis shoe wearer...and I even convinced him to take his Teva Mush along. I just converted him to a "Mush" lover this summer, ( Prior to that...he had never worn any kind of sandal in his life)!!

I just ordered Merrell Senis flip flops...OMG are they comfortable. They arrived today and feel fantastic. I have another pair of Merrell mary janes. I plan on swapping between the 2 pairs.

My favorite tennis shoes are new balance. I have #472 in wide. My favorite
summer shoes are keens. I searched for years to find a comfortable summer shoe, and I'm so happy with my keens!:cool1:
I also love AVON's foot care line. They have great lotions and they have a product called citrus mint cooling foot lotion that is really refreshing after a long touring day. I might be a little biased though.;)

I always wear something along the lines of Nike, Reebok, Adidas, New Balance. DW always wears New Balance. We find they are much better for our feet given the amount of walking. There are only two rides that get you very wet, Kali River Rapids in AK and Splash Mountain in MK. We did not have a problem with our shoes being overly soaked on these rides.

I've tried almost every kind of tennis shoe, sandal, Crocs, and flip flop down there, but always come back to either my Teva Mush flip flops or Montrail Molokini flip flops. I usually go to WDW every Sept, Dec, and May and have worn my flip flops year round down there, although in Dec I will usually carry one pair of Croc Beach or Caymans, just in case.

I'm a Birkenstock girl myself... I do like my croc flip flops, but my feet can't stand to be in them for extended periods of time (very little arch support compared to my Birks).

Just got back and I got 2 pair of Teva mush flip flops, per everyones opinion of this site, and I loved them, I also bought a Baggini bag-that wasn't as comforable-didn't use the bag.

I wear sneakers every time- I wear two layers of socks, even if it does rain I won't get blisters! I know crocs are comfy, but i just don't like the look. At all. :p

We all wear them. I (dad) am the only one who also likes to bring a pair of sneakers to break things up. The kids love the Crocs and they are easy to pack and fly with (with the quick off thing).
I am sure you hear a lot, but they have to be the genuine article, the "Mock Crocs" just can't even compare. Believe me, I am not a snob, I would love to pay less for them, but you just can't.

I have a different type of problem. I cannot stand anything between my toes because it's just too painful (lived in thong sandals as a teen. :confused3 ) Crocs make me feel like I'm off balance and sneakers feel too heavy on my feet. What the heck do I wear at WDW for all day walking? Can anyone help me with a suggestion? I know it's probably an impossible question but thought I'd give it a try. Forgot to mention I am 50 years young and have bad knees.

i know crocs are far from glam however at disney I wore them proudly comfort had to come 1st, like the above comment they are indeed like walking on air

I finally broke down and bought crocs "ugly shoes" and am excited to wear them at Disney.

I just picked up a new pair of ZX/2 Chacos the other day... my first pair! A friend recommended them, has had her pair for forever and still going strong.

They definitely take some getting used to (my goal is to wear them 2 hours every day), and I can see how the arch support wouldn't work for everyone, but I am already convinced these will be my best bet for WDW & DCL. I will also bring my Clark flip-flops, but they are leather so I won't chance it unless I'm pretty darn sure it's not going to rain.

Also, one pair of "pretty" sandals to wear to dinner on the ship, and that should be it.
