Sue, I missed the Easy Spirit sale, but will still get a pair. I have a coupon for our local store so at least I get some discount.

Tinkie, the sandals look nice! Let us know how they are in the parks.

I checked TJ Maxx for the padded socks, but they only had a pair of men's, which I bought for my DH. I'll check Marshall's and if they don't have any I'll go to Sport's Authority. That's a good idea and should help with my foot problems.

One other thing to have with you is mole skin. I bought mine at drugstore.com, but you can buy it locally at CVS, Target, etc. Once taped to your potential blister area, it will rub against your shoe instead of your skin. I think that was another reason why my very blister prone tootsies were saved on our last trip.

I have to agree with the Teva supporters. Not only do I wear then constantly at WDW but my sister, her husband and twin 6 year olds (they were 3 1/2 for their first trip) also wear them. No need for the sneakers for our family. Even my mom and dad are getting a pair this year.
I also agree with getting moleskin just in case you get hotspots it works wonders and for blisters (the rare times I have worn sneakers) there are Dr. Scholls blister cushions that work great.

I LOVE my Merrell sandals. I had Nike straprunners and my Merrell sandals are even more comfortable if that is possible.

I always take a pair of slip on sandals. We stay at the Poly and I like something I can slip on when I want to go get some coffee, or a quick bite at the restaurant or whatever. I definitly like something that I can just slip into once in a while.

Okay - First I have to admit that I never bring a pair of sneakers with me to WDW. I find them to confining to wear all day in the parks and I hate having to wear hot socks with them.

I live in Clarks sandals. So comfy and cooling to wear.

I also pack a thin pair of flip flops in my bag to wear on any ride where I'll get wet. They don't weigh anything extra or take up much space. Also helps if I'm stuck in the rain.
