What section to request @ CSR?!?

I haven't stayed at CSR in over 10+ years, what area should I request to stay in? It will be myself, DH and our DD 3yo. We will not have a car and use only the Disney transportation. We would probably also like to be some what close to the main pool and lobby with a little one. Thanks

I think the main pool and the lobby are not near each other. We picked the new Gran Destino Tower for our first stay at CSR this summer- it is brand new and just opening July 9th. You would be near the lobby that way as I believe the lobby will be in the Tower once it’s opened. And you can cross one of the bridges to get to the main pool. The Tower will have multiple food options and be close to many of the other food options also.

The Tower will have it's own lobby and is centrally located. Ranchos is close to Dig site but farthest from El Centro. Now that they have built new bridges, I would say Casitas would be good followed by Cabanas.

I should maybe clarify that we are already book @ CSR for Sept and i did not book the tower. Thanks.

We stayed in the Cabanas section (closest to the tower) and LOVED it. It was very quiet and beautiful. We felt centrally located to all important places. An easy walk to El Centro, the main pool and the bonus was the bus stop was right outside our door. The tower was being built when we were there, so I can't speak to what it would be like to be there, but it looks very convenient too. Honestly the resort is laid out quite well. I would think Ranchos would be the least desirable for your situation. All other areas will be fine.
