Hi--I was wondering what scooter (and where to rent it from) that is the easiest to park on the buses. I cannot always turn my head or get anxiety if people are watching. So any word on scooter size and parking on buses.

FYI: I will be staying onsite and using Disney buses for all my transportation needs.

TIA.

I have no trouble parking my Victory 10 (Pride), but I am used to it and use it daily at home. I think practice is the key to parking any ECV. Take a few minutes to practice at your resort. Just mark out an area in your room with a couple of chairs and practice until you "get it." And there should be plenty of room to practice--remember a bus isn't very wide!

I think that the Pride Go Go models are the easiest because they are the smallest. They only weigh about 120 pounds so you can easily push them into place if you do not feel comfortable parking them. There is a lever on the back that puts the scooter into neutral. Just remember to switch it back when you drive it again.

Please remember that the Go Go is a small scooter and it is inexpensive to rent, however, they do not fit everyone of size. Also, the seat is not the most comfortable or plush of the scooter seats so consider if that is a factor for you.

You want a smaller scooter if it fits your size. If you are tall it could be difficult with the pride to go scooters; the leg room is just not there. There are weight limits on scooters, too.

Most find a three wheel scooter to be easier to handle; however, most feel the four wheeler is more stable.

I would go with one of the approved off site vendors. The list of the approved ones is on the info post, here. I don't know how to link it. Maybe, someone else can do that, here.

Scooters can break down and you want the best access to another scooter or scooter part if this happens. Supposedly, the approved vendors have better access to the parks and such.
